Better than high end shampoo!
I have naturally blonde hair with an oily scalp but damaged ends due to ponytails and messy buns (2 kids). I spent hundreds of dollars on high end shampoo trying to find something that would degrease my scalp but repair my ends. THIS IS IT!!!!! It’s amazing! My hair hasn’t looked better for a long time. The scents aren’t my favorite but I use the lavender shampoo and the vanilla conditioner and like those combined. Definitely give this shampoo a try. I’ve already repurchased 3 times!

Save your money
This product does not do anything for oily hair. It’s less helpful than just regular Dove shampoo. You’ll need to use a lot of shampoo for one wash; I needed 5 for medium length hair. Don’t waste your money.

No noticeable difference
I have oily hair. I wash my hair nearly every day due to exercise. This is an expensive shampoo. I need at least 2-3 pumps to get some good lather going. I like the scent and it lingers. But, I see absolutely no benefit to this shampoo. I have been using his brand exclusively for over 6 months. My hair has a million split ends and this shampoo has not helped at all. My hair looks dull and limp.

works well for oily hair
The shampoo works well for oily hair and helps to keep it from getting greasy too fast. It makes hair soft and manageable, but it does not add as much volume to my hair as the volumizing shampoo of the same brand. It still is very nice.It has pleasant vanilla scent, sweet, but not too intrusive. Hair smells good, too, but not too much.

Smelled awful, over dried hair
I have had such hit or miss results with Hair Rx. So I purchased the line for my fine hair, and it was great for about a month, and then my hair got greasy. I stopped using it. I have tried about five different varieties and scents of Hair Rx. First off the only scent that is any good is the jasmine. The citrus is too light, the vanilla is excessively sweet, the lavender smells like it is on steroids and very angry, the coconut is just disgusting I can’t even. These shampoos and conditioners always come with a little note that says contact us with questions. I have contacted their helpline three times on three different products and have never received an answer. All of the shampoos and conditioners regardless of formula feel the exact same. They are a moderately thin watery substances. Each bottle comes with the bottle and a pump. The pump does not let a lot of product out and it clogs pretty quickly and then you are shooting shampoo or conditioner out of the side of the pump. The scent is gross, it smells like the lavender has had a bad day, maybe hasn’t showered in awhile, forgot to put on deodorant and covered itself with perfume. It is awful. Next, the consistency of all of the shampoos and conditioners of theirs are exactly the same. I think if you were targeting different hair issues, they would not be the same. This particular formula should target oily hair. And initially I think it does. After repeated use, however, it has stripped your hair of all oil and now you have a mess. I have used their formula for fine hair and so far that has been the best one for me. I was disappointed in this formula, my step daughter thinks her hair is greasy, but she has ethnic hair, and I persuaded her not to use this. She did anyway and we ended up having to put oil in her hair and wrap it up for a couple of days. My stepson who has greasy hair, used this and initially it looked like his hair was kind of coming back, but then it got over dried and then he had breakouts, hair breakage. Basically, I just question how often this product should be used.

Great Shampoo but Not For Me
I received three products from the HairRx line, an Italian company that incorporates a lot of plant oils and extracts into their hair care products. I was particularly excited to try this shampoo which is designed to strengthen damaged hair but not exacerbate an oily scalp. While I wouldn't say my scalp is oily, my colored hair is fine enough that most moisturizing products tend to weigh it down.I'll start by saying there's a lot to love about this shampoo. It's cruelty free, as well as free from sulfates and parabens. The scent is heavenly. Personally, it doesn't smell anything like jasmine to me, which is good because I find jasmine to be too pungent smelling. The lather is super thick and rich - almost like whipped creme. And, most importantly of all, it left my hair feeling silky and looking healthy. Two problems - the minor one is that the pump is extremely difficult to figure out. I ended up breaking the pump on the first bottle trying to get it up, but was finally able to get the other two to work by banging them upside down against the edge of my sink until they popped up. So the dispenser definitely needs work. But if that was the only issue, this stuff would still rate five stars. The major issue for me is that, after several days use, my face started breaking out along the sides of my chin (with large cystic acne like I haven't had in 15 years). Since the HairRx shampoo and conditioner were the only new products I'd been using, it's safe to assume they're what caused the breakout.Man, I really love this stuff, but I'm honestly afraid to try it again as I'm only just getting over the three large blemishes after two weeks.
