Fine 2.5mm Chair Cane 270'/8' Binder Cane, Refill for Kit 200F

This was the only place that I could get chair caning for only one chair. It is too expensive to buy for multiple chairs when I only intend to do one now. I had some old cane, but it had gotten brittle and could not be used. Glad I did not have to do that again.

No complaints, item worked well during weaving.

I was mistaken when I first opened the package. I gave it a harsh review at first glance but my neighbor straightened me out. It’s pretty good quality. Natural so. Ever going to be perfect. Sorry for the bad first review.

Repaired an old wicker table and chair for my grand girls

Liked that I could buy just the cane and binding. This was the only product available on Amazon when I purchased. Quality was lacking. No matter how long or short I soaked it, it split as I wove. Plenty of binding cane, but poor quality— some unusable. Also some major differences in thickness at the eyes, needed to sand some eyes to avoid seat ripping clothing. But. I was able to use it and I’m happy to have recaned another rocking chair seat. Wouldn’t recommend this product for a first project.

I am so disappointed with the cane I bought. from this company. After doing several steps the cane started to break and I would have to go back and reweave with a new piece. This certainly isn't the quality I used years ago. I would not buy this cane again.

Maybe can cane a chair seat if single set technique used. For double set, allowing for splits, breaks, and wild ends it'd be a stretch. The cane itself is neatly packaged, easy to unwind, and more than adequate .

It doesn't look like a lot, but there is more in the bundle than you think. I repaired 5 wicker chair legs and still have some leftover.
