These are soo cute, reminds me of my childhood. The quality is good for the price. I got the orange set as they are for a boy and girl, they loved it. The only thing I think would have been better is if they had a charging port, except that it's pretty good. The range seems to be okay. I like the idea of not using mobiles and still being able to communicate and much needed for our camping!!

I got these to give my 7- year old daughter a little more freedom. Our trip to Bear Mountain was the perfect time to test them out. I let her go hiking with her friends and their parents, but wanted updates throughout the climb. (of course, my lazy butt wanted to stay at the bottom and be the designated BBQ chef for the group). It was easy to figure out how to operate the devices. I told my daughter to keep it at channel 9 at all times. I called out for her a few times, in which she responded almost immediately, while panting and saying that she's exhausted and hungry. I told her to make it to the top and come back down, and the food will be ready for her. 20 minutes later, I heard "Mommy, I'm so tired, but I'm on my way back down!" She came down to eat, and then went out to the lake shortly afterwards. I remained on land, as always, and talked to her for a bit. Overall, I wish these walkies were rechargeable. We didn't use them constantly throughout our trip, so the battery didn't drain, but I don't know how long they'll last. I think its great for the price, and much more than a toy.

We ordered 2 sets of these. One set (blue) was obviously brand new; plastic wrapped, no batteries, default settings when powered on. The other set (pink) was not plastic wrapped, had target brand batteries in them when they got here, and the setting had all been changed. The pink set was also broken when we got them. One of the walkie talkies constantly transmits (not in VOX mode) and you cannot change any of the settings or power it down without removing one of the batteries. Very disappointed to be given an obviously used set when we ordered new. These were gifts for our kiddos and although they didnt notice because they're younger it was frustrating to give one a brand new functioning set, and the other, a broken used set.

My 4 year old son received an Amazon gift card for Christmas and was wanting some walkie talkies. We looked up different ones on Amazon and came across these. He loves them! My in-laws live a mile away and he took one over there and we kept one at our house and we were able to communicate clearly. He has really enjoyed playing with these every day since receiving them. They are definitely better than I expected for the cost.

The woods are in our backyard and the kids love these! I also like them for another reason that I didn't foresee: the phone signal is kind of bad in my house. Plus, the kids often still have their phones left on silent mode after school. It can be hard to reach them sometimes when they're in the basement. So using the walkie talkie has two benefits for us. Fun and functional.Happy customer.

Easy to use, kids love them. Got these for our 5 year old nephew. He and his sister love playing with them. The have a great range for what they are. Can’t beat it for the money. Super easy to use.

Didn't work at all. 2 of us tried after reading the instructions and they just didn't function. One handset didn't even reflect full charge with new batteries, the other did but buttons still work. My child was very disappointed as she passed up some in store for these because I thought these would be better based on overall reviews, my mistake.

These work perfect for my ten year old. He can take one with him into his clubhouse in the back yard and we can talk to him crystal clear. They are quite sturdy so they've handle quite a few drops and fumbles over the last two months and still work great, The volume control has sufficient range from high to low and they have 22 channels that can be used stationary or in scanning mode. Each runs on 4 AAA batteries and battery life has been very good. Im very happy with this purchase.
