I live in Midwest and it is cold!! But I like my skirts, this one is thick, has pockets and it is flattering. My hubby said "you look so pretty". I love this skirt, it is flowy, prefect in size and length and a thick warm material that is lined. Get YOUR size for around your waist! I wear a M/L and went with a L and glad I did. With my fleece tights & my bodysuit, it fits perfectly for comfort. I got the brown plaid long one. I weigh 167 and am 5'2.

This skirt is absolutely adorable, soft, and I'm enjoying it a lot. It feels like I can't put it in the dryer, but nowadays that's becoming normal of 'soft' items, so I'm not holding it against them. It's the perfect fall color, I love it for looking nice with all my darker gray, black, and dull green tops. 10/10 appearance, perfect skirt for fall and was blocking the wind like an absolute champ on the windiest day I've seen for half the year.There are very minor design issues. The back panel is gathered and they didn't measure to fix this, so the pockets will be a little awkwardly far back. It does fall a bit differently, but I'm also not used to heavy skirts, so take that with a grain of salt.One lovely thing that's a little different is that the measurement on the waist is NOT measured before it's gathered, it's measured after. So whatever waist measurement you get, get one that's true to size or just barely smaller. There is a zipper to the right side to help get it on, and it'll stretch. They're not using cheap elastic, which I appreciate, it feels good stretching it and it doesn't pull too hard. Honestly, I wish I'd gotten a slightly smaller size.There was more care put into the stitching than I expected, with surging and a double line of stitching to keep it together, Idk if it even needs reinforcing like most clothes I've bought. The lining has just one line of surging, which is totally fine, a hidden hem like that takes like 15 minutes to hem, and that's only because I'm picky and hate hemming after something frays. The lining is attached at the hip and loosely falls with two non-stretchy bands, one on each side. I suggest keeping it, since it stops more airflow than you realize.10/10 pockets, they used the same outer material in the whole pocket instead of the lining, and I can fit my phone and headphones in there easily without it sticking out or making weird sounds. The lining makes it more comfortable on the inside instead of having a random flap of fabric flying around.  I'll have to edit my review if it doesn't wash well. There are no instructions or instructional tag on it, so good luck to it on my default setting and a hang dry.

This skirt is super cute. Very well-made and very thick! Good for winter. I sized up and it fits well in the waist but there is a lot of material- Very twirly

I'm 5'7", ~120 lbs. I ordered the long wine skirt in X-Small about a month ago, and I LOVE it! It is warm, flattering and very sturdy. I decided to order the midi length as the long one is very long...and there may be cold days when I want to show some ankle (risque, I know, lol).The midi is the perfect length and the material is still warm and sturdy. The only issue is that the elastic is VERY tight in back; I'm gonna loosen that up ASAP. Additionally, the faux leather trim on the pockets makes them jut out a bit, which isn't as flattering as the longer skirt. Those pockets lay flush with the rest of the material.All-in-all, this is a great skirt. The pockets will probably lay better when that back elastic is looser. If I could, I would exchange the X-Small midi for a small.

It’s of good quality, lined and comfortable with stretch in waist. It’s always nice to have pockets. I like the material, it makes for a nice winter skirt on cold days.

I've been looking for a plain black, midi-length skirt to wear with boots. This style looked like it would be exactly what I wanted, but the blanket-like fabric is a huge minus. It's soft, yes, and it has pockets that don't interfere with the drape of the skirt, but the fabric weighs a ton. It's so heavy, it feels like it's dragging on you. The skirt looks fine from the front, but the thick fabric is gathered over an elastic waistband in the back, which puts additional inches on your waist and over your backside. I've got enough junk in my trunk as it is, so I'm returning this. Maybe a horse somewhere is looking for a cozy new blanket!

I rated a 3 star on stretch not because it is not a 5 star but because it is not elastic all around. But it isn't supposed to be either. It is a very elegant skirt, very thick and warm. It defiantly fits as suggested and is very comfortable. I love it!

This skirt has a nice winter weight fabric. It's warm and nicely lined. Unfortunately, the design is kinda shapeless. Meaning that it is not fitted in the waist. If you have hips, this material will flair out and make you look very wide. I have hips and prefer not to look wider than I am. This would be adorable on any woman with a very slim build. I am returning.

This one has a side zipper and those that do are more A line.The skirt fall's below the calve which is great with boots.I sized up after trying daughter's because I have hips and more hourglass shape.If you are thinner built stick with your normal size.Other's from this supplier only have some elastic in waist. They are not A line and look matron yet fantastic on daughter. Pay close attention to material when ordering.I've ordered another that's referenced New and can't wait. Already have the same in different colours.They are soft, heavy, bit stiff and appear to have more wool which helps make them seem more expensive.

Very good quality would buy again

It's nice and warm and cosy for the winters. Good quality material and comes with a lining.
