Helps Me Better Plan Ahead
I bought 4 of these in different colors to manage my elderly parent's pills. They each take a large number twice a day. The colors let them know which boxes are theirs and which is day and which is for night. I used to have weekly boxes and was constantly rushing over to keep them filled. The monthly also helps me plan for refills well in advance. PRO TIP: When refilling, start with the bottle with the least amount of pills. Only fill the boxes up with the remaining meds based on what the "least-filled" bottle allows.

Buy this pill organizer—you won’t regret it!
The Once-a-Day Monthly Pill Organizer has been a game changer for me. I bought one in yellow and one in blue—yellow for A.M. pills and blue for P.M. pills. Now, I only have to sort my dad’s medication once a month instead of weekly. The date-based design, rather than just days of the week, provides a much more reliable way to track which pills to take each day. Each compartment is easy to open yet secure, so if it’s dropped, all the pills stay in place.

Works great if you don't manhandle it
Picked a few of these up several months ago in the interest of perpetuating my laziness and only having to fill a doser once, and this is one of the only 30+ day doser that I've found where the pill compartments themselves are not removable things you absolutely will lose.Size wise, the thing is perfect. I can throw it in my backpack with 0 issue and fit all of my medications, including the obnoxiously large fish oil capsules I take. The compartments are deeper than they seem. The extra compartment is a nice feature also.Unfortunately, as I've found, you do have to be bit gentle with it - specifically, the the lid. Some of the plastic top... "hinges" (for lack of a better term) that the lids will swivel on are fragile - started off breaking one, I've now broken about 2 more months later. It seems like there's a few that weaken to where when you bend it past 45 degrees (no discernible difference between one that's fine and one that's not), they just snap. Safest bet when loading is probably to remove the entire lid portion (Which is removable). I will say that the lids themselves still snap on when broken, so it's not a total loss - just be wary of violently shaking the thing :)It is also worth noting this has only happened on one of them. The clear one I bought is working just fine still.I would say that for the ~$10 I paid for it, it's not a bad deal. I will be buying another one to replace the lids that have broken.
