CriscoBaking Sticks All Vegetable Shortening, 20 Ounce

I have a reprint of an older cook book that has several recipes that call for shortening. I made a two-egg cake last week and used this shortening. It comes in three "bricks" and is so much easier to use than years ago when you had to fill a measuring cup from a large tub. With having extra time to cook, it is nice to make the cakes your grandmother used to make with right ingredients.

I love these Crisco baking sticks! I have been using them for years. Usually I am not one to pay extra for convenience but this product is one I can't pass on. I bake cookies so often and am often baking them on the run so it is one messy step removed!

Sent as part of a care package to my mother-in-law. She appreciated all the items. Wish there were more food items available at reasonable prices and that the prices didn't fluctuate so much. I have to check the prices everyday to make sure they have gone up significantly over night.

Would have been 5 star except there were several flaws in the cloth including a hole the size of a quarter and 2' long melted area. Maybe that's why it's cheaper. Seconds or blemished?
