Works great as long as you screw it on correctly
As long as I screw the top in correctly, it brews great. I made the mistake of using the handle to tighten so it wouldn’t seal or brew correctly. Steam would come out from the side. So don’t use the handle to tighten.

It does work on an induction stove top
Several reviews stated that this product would not work with an induction stove top. The pot passed the magnet test (magnet must stick to the bottom to be induction ready) so I gave it a try. I have a Frigidaire Gallery Induction oven/range and I have now made several batches of espresso with my new Coffee Gator Moka Pot. Note, the induction top must have a small induction coil or the pot may not be recognized by the stove top. Mine has two normal size, one giant size and one small. The small one is perfect for the Moka Pot.You need to start with hot water (same for all Moka Pots) and because the induction area is kind of small you need to set the cook top to a slightly higher setting (7 out of 10) instead of medium. I was able to make a full pot of espresso in a reasonable amount of time and it did not burn.I roast my own coffee and I look forward to trying this with an espresso blend, my LaVazza espresso didn't make much of a crema. The construction of the pot is very good. I had no problems getting it to seal at the midpoint, and clean up is not as easy as an Aeropress, but about the same as a french press. It will not be my daily coffee method, but I look forward to years of use when I want an espresso for Americano or a milk drink (cappuccino, flat white, etc).If you have an induction range that won't recognize this pot, there are hob adaptors (induction plates) that can be placed between the induction top and the pot. I have one but didn't need it.Overall, I recommend this as a capable, sturdy Moka pot, especially at the price I paid. It is well constructed and the handle is firmly attached. Be careful when cleaning or you could scrape off the exterior paint. Mine is holding up fine. The metal cups it comes with are nice but too small for anything except espresso, but that is kind of the point isn't it? A good pot at a good price. Well done Coffee Gator!

The Best, Affordable, Mocha Pot
I have bought this mocha pot twice because we love it so much! The first time the ring on the bottom ended up falling off but that was after almost FIVE years of near daily use! So, for this price, it is unbeatable. The second one has been just as great and we have had it for about a year now.

Good little moka pot. Decent size.
This product has been made to look great on the outside. It looks not as nice inside, especially in the area where you fill in the water. Mine also appeared to be a bit dirty so I washed all the parts. I wasn’t too concerned being that this item is a new release. But it was a little odd the seal sticker was lifted up instead of being stuck in place.Anyway, the cups that are included are espresso cups and not as big as they seem (kinda was expected to be small and not a bad thing necessarily). Two of these cups basically fill in the water area that you’ll use to boil your water. It works well, but there is a learning curve as to finding which coffee you like most, the grind size, etc.Side note, if the brewed coffee is spurting our, the heat is too high. It also takes a while to brew from cold water, so Coffee Gator recommends filling it with heater water. The bottom water reservoir heats up to whatever temp water you add to it, so burn warning so it doesn’t happen to you like it almost happened to me when using my filter water tower with a hot and cold spicket. A towel is recommended if filling with hot water to screw it together as well. That said, coffee comes out nice and strong. I don’t hear mine gurgle too loud, so my indication it’s done is when I see a good amount of steam coming out. I usually keep the heat on medium when heating this thing up.The cups are about 3oz each, eyeing the amount that I got this morning with my third brew with this thing. A full pot filled my 12oz insulated cup about half way. I think I may be using this moka pot to brew a “full cup” and adding cream or frothy milk. It’s a nice change from my usual espresso machine. Happy brewing!

Don’t be fooled by the “6-cup” label – you’ll probably get closer to 4 cups of coffee.
**Check out the Coffee Gator Moka Pot – a total game-changer!**I recently got my hands on the Coffee Gator Moka Pot and I’m hooked! This little thing makes amazing coffee. The build quality is solid, and the metallic cups are a cool touch. It’s super easy to use and clean up is a breeze. The water tank is smaller than advertised. Don’t be fooled by the “6-cup” label – you’ll probably get closer to 4 cups of coffee. That’s still a good amount for me!Overall, I'm super happy with it and recommend it to any coffee lover.
