Why did you pick this product vs others?:I have a heavy blanket for the winter months, and another one for spring and fall. But that one was a bit too warm for summer. The waffle blanket allows for more air circulation and is just right for summer (with air conditioning on in the house).

I have no complaints about this product. Nice, lightweight blanket. Perfect for hot weather sleeping.

I was concerned about the size 90 by 90, but it shrunk in the dryer to 75 by 80, which is good as I did ot want it as big as it was advertised for. I would have liked the length to stay at 90 inches as we tuck in the bottom but oh well. It is a cozy blanket and I am happy with it.

Lost a lot of lint in the first few washes, but soft and warm.

As I always do with new bedding, I washed this blanket before putting it on my bed. When I put it in my dryer, the lint trap was completely FULL after only 5 minutes. I cleaned it out, started the dryer again, and 5 minutes later had another full lint trap. At that point, I gave up on using my dryer and hung it out to dry. That much lint can quickly become a fire hazard! I'll use the blanket, but I'll NEVER put it in my dryer again.

Don't buy this blanket. There are other companies that have them. Love cotton and loved the beautiful color. It is becoming cold, it was time to bring it out to layer bed with or use as a throw. I always wash linen before using and this blanket had that unhealthy chemical scent. Thankfully I washed this blanket separately, When i took it out the washer , there were wads of string , shedding, lint? i really don't know what to call it. It was matted in my washer and was on floor when i took it out. I have never seen anything like it. I went outside and shook it out and thought it would be okay to dry, Honestly my inner self knew it might not be ok. OMG, the shedding was everywhere. Just think about your lint trap and cleaning off the lint, it was thirty times more.it was stuck on the walls of the dryer, the insides of the dryer, fell out to floor. i had to hose out my lint trap, tomorrow i will clean my outside vent. I am not exaggerating, actually i can't describe it. The color never faded and when dry it was still linty but soft. .i will trash this blanket. I would not feel right donating to charity or shelter because of the mess it made. i missed the return date. it was something to see and the clean took about two fours. It was an experience and a disappointment. This was one my worse Amazon buys, then there's the loss of money. Don't do it!
