I have many tripods and each one has its own drawbacks, the more stable they are the heavier they tend to be, unless you are paying a fortune for carbon fibre. Even very compact and lightweight versions can be a bit bulky when just walking around with your camera. So if possible I like to be able to pack my stuff into a single shoulder bag, so its camera, spare lens, fold up stool, tripod, bottle of water and a snack plus my mobile phone goes in, oh and I nearly forgot the pop up drinking bowl for my dog. After that I'm set up for a nice walk and hopefully take some shots along the way, I often take images of wild flowers, fungi and other close up and macro stuff that is mainly at ground level and although my other tripods will do the job they have to be set up very low down and that is where this comes into its own. So lets start with the basics, this is and never was intended to be a professional tripod, you would not want your heavy and expensive Canon or Nikon sitting unattended on the top of this in a stiff breeze. It is however a very well made small tripod for certain tasks like the ones I mention above, it is very compact and lightweight and will pack away easily into a bag or backpack. It is not particularly tall and at fully extended height will put the lens of your camera at about 42” above ground level which would be fine for most casual panoramic shots, but it works best as a small tripod for low to ground level photography and when used at up to say about 24” high even a heavy camera would be secure enough, although if used at full height I would advise staying close to the tripod just in case. Construction wise it has three alloy extruded sections with plastic snap down locking tabs to secure each section and these seem quite robust when closed. The centre post moves up or down within a 12” range and the three legs are braced between with a sliding bridge section that locks when pressed downwards. The top section has a tilt and pan locking head with a quick release lever for the camera plate, all a bit basic as you would expect for the price and although plastic it does seem to hold the camera secure enough in the horizontal position, but I would not trust it with a heavy camera or telephoto lenses. Basically it is what it is and for the price it is ideal for the purpose I will be using it for and would happily recommend it to anyone wanting one for similar use, i.e. low down and macro photography without the need for carrying a bulky tripod around with you.

This is ideal for my needs. My Sony Sony dsc-hx400v (660 g) sits on it nicely. I don't need anything taller as there is a tilt screen on my dsc-hx400v and I can operate the camera remotely as well. Stable with the legs extended. The mobile attachment and spirit level are great addition for a mobile phone. There are a couple of downsides: 1. The bag that comes with it is more of a sleeve with a thin cord attached to it. The cord is not very long and only just sits over one shoulder not cross body. As the cord is attached there are no loops to hook a better strap to. 2. With the top mast extended there is some wobble at the top. (but as mentioned before my camera has a tilt screen). 3. Only one twist handle for horizontal. Thumb screw for vertical tilt. All in all almost perfect for it's price and intended use.

My 14 year old daughter has taken an interest in 35 mm photography and was recently thrilled to be given a Canon SLR. She asked for a tripod and hr father and I looked about, finally settling on this after careful consideration of price, reviews, etc. Must say that we were not expecting it to be as sturdy as it is, given the price. It is well made and easy to use. Her camera sits securely and the quick release works great. She's very pleased with it, especially since it is very light, folds down compactly, and the carry bag is comfortable to use.

bought this tripod to replace a lightweight plastic one i had, this is a very stable, surprisingly light tripod, has seen extensive use so far, and is perfect for my needs, especially like the quick release feature for the mounting plate, makes hand held shooting to tripod shooting smooth and fast

Ho preso il Cullmann Alpha 1000 e all'apparenza può sembrare un giocattolo in quanto pesa solo mezzo kg e ha dimensioni veramente compatte. Dopo averlo aperto e impostato la massima estensione mi sono ricreduto, in quanto è molto solido. Per la mia sony a6000, anche con teleobiettivo, è perfetto. Ovviamente se iniziate a metterci su corpi macchina pesanti di reflex ho qualche dubbio sulla resistenza. La testa è orientabile in tutte le direzioni. Viene fornito inoltre con una sacca per il trasposto. Per ora sono completamente soddisfatto. PRO: prezzo, dimensioni, robustezza, orientabile in tutte le direzioni CONTRO: nessuno

Pour faire court, achetez-le les yeux fermés ;) Mon vidéoprojecteur (Xiaomi Mi Smart Compact Projector en passant qui est très très bon lui aussi) tient parfaitement (1.3 Kg), le trépied est bien fait, léger mais suffisamment stable, c'est pas un trépied de pro mais pour le prix, il est top ! Surtout qu'en magasin c'est le double et pour plus petit (140 cm). Deux niveaux sont présents : un pour le trépied, un pour le support en haut. Le serrage se fait bien, le pas de vis nickel, le dépliage est simple et rapide, la hauteur 165 cm, avec le projo, 180 cm, je peux visionner des films partout en extérieur même ! Il sera aussi top pour les appareils photos j'en doute pas (je n'en ai pas). La poignée pour le déplacer est bien sans plus (une mousse aurait été appréciable mais on ne peut pas tout avoir), petite housse fournie avec. Livraison rapide avant la date prévu, le livreur m'a appelé en étant devant la porte :) NB : petit regret qu'il ait déjà été utilisé (marque d'utilisation nettement perçues (rayures), mais geste commercial accepté => Encore et encore Merci Amazon !

Für den Preis solch ein günstiges Stativ zu erhalten, was mir so viel Freude bereitet hätte ich nicht gedacht. Wenn man im Internet geguckt, Bewertungen, Tests und "Fach"-Kommentare durch liest sollte man meinen, dass man gute Stative erst ab 200€ minimum bekommen kann und man selbst als Einsteiger kein günstiges kaufen sollte. Davon gibt es hier gleich 8 Stück und ich bin höchst zufrieden. Ich muss sagen, es ist mein erstes Stativ und fotografiere noch nicht sehr lange, daher habe ich evtl. andere Erwartungen, aber ich schildere mal zwei Beispiele wie ich das Stativ bisher verwendet habe, damit meine Meinung nachvollziehbar ist. Für mich ist das Stativ hauptsächlich für Nachtaufnahmen und Panorama Fotos von Bedeutung, vielleicht kommen noch andere Sachen dazu, aber diese 2 schildere ich einmal. Nachtfotografieren an den Rheinterassen in Düsseldorf: Das war mein erster Einsatz, an dem Liefertag des Stativs. Mit der praktischen Tasche ab über die Schulter, die Kamera über die Andere und los gehts. Gewicht ist völlig in Ordnung! Die Halteplatte hatte ich bereits zu Hause befestigt, damit es schnell los gehen kann. Das Stativ ist super schnell aufgebaut und man kann gleich loslegen. Belichtungszeiten von 5-30 Sekunden, mit diversen Einstellungen ausprobiert. Leider viele Wackler drin gehabt. War aber auch relativ windig an dem Tag. Dann habe ich meinen Batteriegriff unter die Kamera geschraubt, um das Gewicht zu erhöhen, leider kein Unterschied. Aber wenn man ein bisschen nachdenkt kommt man ganz schnell auf die Lösung. Haltegurt an der Kamera + Wind = Segel = verwackelte Bilder. Also den Gurt entfernt und von dort an nur noch gute Fotos geschossen (Außer es ist mal wieder ein Schiff durch die Langzeitbelichtung gefahren). Besonders praktisch ist der Haltegriff des Stativs, ein Freund der mich begleitet hat und ein viel teureres Stativ hat, hat leider keinen Griff, ist dann ein bisschen umständlicher bei einem Standortwechsel. Panoramafoto: Für mein erstes Panorama habe ich die Kamera auf das Stativ geschraubt und alle Schrauben zunächst festgezogen, dann habe ich die horizontale Einstellung so weit gelockert, dass man die Kamera so gerade über den Griff drehen kann, aber sie nicht verwackelt. Habe ein Panorama mit Hochformatbildern (Kamera auf Stativ kippen) und eines mit Querformatbildern gemacht, das Stativ wirkte in beiden Situationen stabil und auch die Panoramas sind später beim Zusammensetzen am PC super geworden. Besonders bei den Einzelbildern im Hochformat kann man riesige und schöne Panoramas erstellen. Zusammenfassung: + Sehr guter Preis + Überraschend stabil + Macht mir auch mit Batteriegriff keine Angst dass die Kamera durch das Gewicht runterfällt oder etwas abbricht + Tragegriff (auch bei Standortwechseln habe ich keine Angst die Kamera auf dem Stativ zu lassen) + Tragetasche Fazit: Absolute Kaufempfehlung!
