Great size and very convenient!
Works really well for cats with previously diagnosed urinary issues. Fraction of the price of rx cat foods. This is my cats preferred food. They seem to love the smell and taste. Will continue to purchase.

This works!
I just wanted to tell everyone looking around for a more cost effective solution that this food does work for my cat's urinary crystal issues. The prescription food is not appetizing to my cat, costs a ton, and is really just junky food from a nutrition standpoint. My cat really enjoys eating this food so that's a real bonus in addition to the cost difference.I'd say it took a few weeks for her to get the all clear with the crystals so it won't happen overnight. Just be patient. And once she got the all clear, she was still peeing outside of the litter box because the poor thing had a kitty version of PTSD about the pain I think. My vet put her on Amitriptyline and within a couple weeks she was peeing in the box again. To break it down and make it easy if you want to try what worked for us, this is what I do to maintain her urinary tract health:Morning: 1/2 can Purina ProPlan urinary tract health wet food with warm water addedFree feeding of this Iams Urinary health dry food throughout the dayDinnertime: 1/2 can Purina Pro Plan urinary tract health wet food with a capsule of Cosequin for Cats sprinkled on it and added warm waterEvening: 1/2 pill of Amitriptyline at night before bedtime (wrapped in a pill pocket to make it easy)You can get all of the supplies here on Amazon, though your vet has to prescribe the anti depressant for the pharmacy to fill. I hope that helps anyone struggling to get rid of urinary tract issues in their cats. I was skeptical that this budget brand would work as well as it did! Well worth trying to see if it helps your kitty too because it'll save you a heck of a lot of money.

SAVE YOUR MONEY & BUY THIS INSTEAD OF THE EXPENSIVE SCIENCE HILL’S C/D URINE CARE
If your cat has urination problems or crystals, GET THIS!! Took my cat to the vet bc I noticed he kept repeatedly going to the litter box and squatting to pee but only little drops came out. I was terrified he had a blockage. $400 dollars later, the vet tells me there was no blockage, but blood in his urine and some small crystals. His medicine? A bag of $100 cat food (Science Hill’s urinary care c/d to be exact) to break up the crystals and prevent them from coming back. Of course I bought it and all is well, but $100 for a bag of cat food when I free feed and have 3 cats is just too expensive. I know a lot of people cannot afford it. Believe me, I’ve done the research and this IAMS PH cat food is just as good. It lowers the cat urine PH to prevent these crystals and blockages. It is the sodium bisulfate ingredient in this cat food that reduces the PH. Basically baking soda so it works! Save your money and choose IAMS!

Great healthy cat food
I got this cat free for my picky eaters. It has been really good for them and they've been eating it for many years. They really enjoy eating it and when it comes to the potty, you do not smell the poop in that so much. And that's a major win for me. It's almost like science diet. My cats had no issues when I transitioned them into this cat food. No digestive problems, Nothing.

Great food!
I switched my cats to this a few years ago and almost immediately noticed a difference in how soft and luscious their fur is now. I have a lot of cats because they get dumped here so while this brand is more expensive than some others, it does appear to be much better quality. I get the urinary tract health food because of how common it is for males to get blocked. Since I switched I've only lost one male from this terrible condition. Considering how many strays come and go here, I consider that a success. And probably most importantly: the cats love it. They were thrilled when I switched them to this.

Pricey but does the job
Pricey but worth it. After cat developed bladder crystals it was recommended she go on a special diet. Almost 3 years later on this brand and we have not had a reoccurrence. We tried numerous brands before finding one that we could get both the cats to eat.

Picky Cat Friendly
Amazing food!! My male cat got his first UTI. I didn’t even know cats could get UTI’s LOL. He got put on antibiotics but I was still very skeptical about him getting more or even worse a blockage, so I changed his kibble diet to this one and it worked out amazing for us!! He no longer struggles to pee or has any problems with it. At first he was hesitant of it but as days went by he started eating more and more until he got completely used to it! My other cats loved the kibble as well. 10/10 reccomend

My cat prefers this food over canned salmon!
Our cat, Orion, has had recurring bouts of urinary tract inflammation. There's no sign of infection or crystals in his urine, but he periodically has difficulty urinating, and blood in his urine.Up to recently, he has been eating the dog's food. I know that is not ideal for a cat, but we have a couple of finicky canine eaters, that nibble at the food all day long, and one aggressive eater, so trying to manage feeding the three dogs differing eating habits once or twice a day seemed pretty complicated. We've been going to the vet, when Orion has an episode every few months, and getting meds, which I've been sprinkling on a small can of salmon or tuna, but it seemed like that was only a temporary fix.So. . . recently I ordered a bag of IAMS urinary tract health cat food, to see how/if it worked. I don't know long term its effect on the cat's UT issues, but the cat LOVES the food. I'd been picking up the dogfood bowl at night and putting out the cat food, so the cat had nothing else to eat at night, and then moving the cat food bowl to the counter during the day.The cat discovered the bowl location and now jumps up on the counter to eat the cat food all day long. Apparently he's so full from the dry cat food, that he's turning up his nose on his morning can of salmon. He no longer wants it, which greatly surprised me.I don't have any experience with cat food. The 7# bag was $16. Which I think kind of expensive, but worth it, if it solves the cat's urinary tract issues. . .🙂Dave
