Perfect for winter dry and cracked skin and lips. A little goes a long ways.

Please note that this product I purchased shows a picture of a plastic bag that looks like Lanolin and says Lanolin. However, the Listings Description it says 100% pure skin moisturizer. A skin moisturizer could be just about any oily substance out there. A white creamy substance can NOT be 100% pure highly refined anhydrous Lanolin. I tried to use it anyway and the results were not as expected, not in a good way. Actually it cost me more to throw the more expensive other mixed ingredients than the cost than the "Skin Moisturizer". Note: this product is also NON-RETURNABLE. Quite frankly I blame myself for being trusting and not critiquing the "Listing" . So BUYERS, you have been told, you're on your own.

Decent product but much thicker than the anhydrous lanolin im used to working with. Almost like its only semi anhydrous, with a fair amount of oil still remaining. I had to adjust my pomade recipe significantly using much more beeswax than usual to compensate and still not the same hard set I like. This lanolin is better for hair butters than pomades.

A better price than the stuff in jars. I have a lot of jars left - they have all been nice containers so I save them - more than I can use. This keeps me from accumulating even more. I transferred the contents of the bag into two of my larger containers. A bit of trouble but I had them and I like it better this way. Definitely not necessary however. The lanolin comes in a good quality zipper plastic bag. It would be practical enough to leave it in the bag which seals up easily. But I did transfer it. It filled (almost) my two one lb containers. Of course I couldn't get it ALL out of the bag but none went to waste. As I went to bed each night, I stuck one foot at a time into the bag and rubbed some of the lanolin onto the foot and had very soft feet in the mornings. There was enough for about a week of doing this. Now only a bag has gone into the landfill rather than two containers. I will get it this way again.

Pure, anhydrous lanolin, pretty much says it all. No impurities, I'm mixing with 99% alcohol to make case lube for reloading. It works great, but it's tricky to make unless you know what you are doing as it involves heating alcohol. Anyway, when it's completely emulsified and mixed in the alcohol and still hot, it's a clear, straw color. Only complaint is it comes in a bag instead of a tub, but the bag is probably cheaper and easier on landfill? It's still removeable using a rod to roll or push it out of the bag.

This lanolin is so nice. It has a very low odor. It is light and creamy, much less sticky than the health food store brand I used to buy. I will definitely buy it again.

It is NOT 100% pure lanolin. Pure lanolin looks like the picture in the ad, not milky like the product I received. Product description and photos are very deceiving. Seller contacted me with this "product data sheet" and the description of product doesn't match what I received and under ingredients its empty. It does not infuse. We use lanolin for cloth diapering and whatever (i suspect some sort of petroleum based product is it) just beads up and flats at the top. The product received has absolutely no smell. 100% real lanolin literally has a sheep smell, and it does not hold its shape its just flattens out into a goo when left on a flat surface.
