Rich, satiny
This is my favorite finish on indoor-use wood projects--so satiny and rich, easy to apply, very natural-feeling. A little goes a long way. I love it so much that I'm on my second can.

Osmo Polyx-Oil
I've worked with a lot of stains and oils but his stuff is heaven. Very easy to work with and almost no smell. After I built my custom work bench for wood working and stuff I used this product and have had zero problems and after 4 years it is still holding up as if it was a fresh coat. I only reordered for another project.

Great stuff. Easy
Did two rooms in Blk Walnut with this finish. It was my favorite after testing 5 others. Easy to use too

Expensive... but worth it!
I have worked with a myriad of products to coat and finish handmade boxes, to furniture. OSMO matte finishes out beautifully with very little smell, to a handmade baby smooth finish. Just recently finished out two projects, (see photos) I sanded to 400 grit, applied sparingly with a brush and cloth, then wiped to a lustre. Repeated 3 times, with a 8 to 10 hour period between.

exactly what i was looking for
Osmo Polyx-Oil brought out the rich grain of my walnut shelves beautifully, leaving a smooth, natural satin finish. It was easy to apply, and two thin coats provided excellent protection while keeping the wood's natural feel. Highly recommend!

Users say this is a good product and I believe it but I was looking for a quicker finishing method.
To be fair, I haven't tested this much yet. But, my initial observation is that it will take a lot of coats (rubbed on with a cloth) to achieve some appreciable build up and sheen. On my sanded oak test board I also observed some blotchy patches which I didn't expect and may have been because of my application technique. So, because I was concerned about the slow application process I decided, instead, to use a tried and true mixture of 50% OIL based satin polyurethane and 50% mineral spirits on my project to get a faster build-up. I hand rubbed multiple applications of this mixture with a soft cotton cloth and got a faster build up.

Beautiful easy finish
I love this finish. A little goes a long way. Applied it in thin two coats using the white scouring pads cut small. Hardly any smell and dries relatively quickly. I’ve done three projects and still have more than half of this little can left.

Cher pour le Rendu. Je voulais un rendu naturel et mat sur un Meuble en chêne brut ça a donné une teinte chaude couleur miel. J’ai du tout refaire. Donc je ne recommande pas pour quelqu’un qui veut un rendu naturel

Disappointed with this product. I sanded and prepared my dining tabletop to a smooth finish. After applying this product, the tabletop is rough again when I run my hand over it. Not what I was expecting.
