I needed to hardwire my work laptop because the wifi couldn't handle having 9 laptops during covid shut downs. The only problem is that my office didn't have a connection and the router was all the way on the other side of the house. This worked perfectly! I was able to plug directly into the router and run the cable up to the ceiling and then follow the molding all the way to my office.

This product is listed, touted and sold as a flat high speed Cat6, and that is to-the-letter what it does.All other Cat5e and Cat6 products with higher quality ~24awg mention PoE (power over ethernet) at the end of a long list of identical capabilities, but due to the small gauge 30awg wire in this variation, there is no way to power a device at the other end, especially 150' away.So, the good news is that I was able to reconfigure my security cameras using the small gauge cable by moving my remote router much farther away, and use a higher quality and shorter cable I had on hand for the PoE leg to the antenna. It works well, just had to expend and afternoon of labor due to a lesser quality $25 part. Sorry, but returning it is too expensive and ordering new to Hawaii takes way to long.

This cable did exactly what I wanted, which is provide a long run between my router and my office on the other side of the building. The wire works flawlessly and speeds are great. This was good news as I had forgot to test continuity before starting the install haha (highly advise testing before committing to installation). It comes with a generous number of clips compared to the other options. The clips don't secure the wire as the opening is larger than the wire thickness, so had to pair this with some clear tape to keep things taut along base boards.

I bought the 150ft white color version (cat6). ran the cord along my wall trim. flat cord, hard to notice. my router & switch are 1Gbps. Tested with iperf3 intranet 820Mbps-ish. given my network topology includes several switches, i think this is meeting my expectation. now my mesh Wifi Access Point are ethernet backhauled and much faster than before. recommend this.Note: there are free 8mm flat clips included in the package so it's really convenient if you don't have those. i do have 10mm clips myself and they work very well.

Installed on December 1st, 2020. Pictures taken on February 9th, 2021. See pictures. Haven't unplugged either end since installation. Only one end failed, but that's one more than should have failed for this sort of thing. Was wondering why my internet connection kept dropping for seemingly no reason.

This was perfect for me! I teach ESL online to kids in China. A stable internet connection can make or break you! This has worked like a charm since the first day I started using it. Its very thin and you can barely see it along the trim of the wall.

I used this cable to link my homelab in my basement to my outbound router. It works and I didn't notice any bottleneck or loss through the cable. I'm not surprised it can pass gig speeds, its a pretty low bar , I just needed a long and low profile cable to run across the house and in the floors without having to make new holes.

We just moved to a house further from the city and were having a spotty wifi connection on our gaming PC, so we bought this to boost connection. Since we’ve been using it, all of our laggy connection issues have been solved! It turned out to be a lot longer than we needed but the excess stores away nicely since it’s so flat.
