Best I found for keeping kids from leaving water on even with hose attached.
5 star for keeping little kids from turning water on. Not strong for high security, but not my concern. I have a hose reel always attached to faucet and it is hard to tell if my kids left the water on. With this, I know I will be there to enable/disable water use. I bought 2 and the second lock was a little harder to close, but get new locks if you want. I forgot they had locks included, so was pleasantly surprised. Compact enough to fit under a styrofoam freeze cover if you wish.

Terrible
Dont waste your money fell apart putting it on, cheap china junk. The lock that comes with it is a joke. Wouldnt last 2 days here in Florida. Didnt fit right and you can break this off in less than a minute. Waste of money isnt worth more than 25 cents

Works great!
Product is a great deterrent, no more trespassers, easy to install, works great, looks great, not clunky. I used lockatap in addition to a spout lock as see in the photo, covering the entire spigot is the best deterrent. Thanks!

It Works Just Fine!
We have a spigot on the front side of our home that we don't use. It is ripe for usage by our HOA landscapers and contractors working in the neighborhood. We've witnessed workers using private home spigots to fill buckets, wash hands etc. This little item is a perfect deterrent for them to stay away from using our water that we pay the bill for. It isn't as flimsy as some reviewers have said and the lock isn't a "diary lock" as noted in another review. It is a small brass padlock that works just fine for my purposes. The lock is even small enough to fit underneath my insulated cover that I have on the spigot to prevent freezes. For less than $20 it was a great buy and I recommend it to anyone who has a similar need.

Will only fit specific faucet knobs
Did not fit my faucet knob which was angled slight more than the design allows! Otherwise it would have fit. Overall it is simple and effective if used with the regular angled knob.

Great for home use
I just needed something to stop my toddler from turning on the hose every time that we looked away. This was fast, easy, and most importantly effective. Not sturdy enough to keep an adult with tools out of it, but great for personal use.

Great security
Easy to install, comes with its own lock. Secured my water faucet to prevent the unwanted use of my hose! The color helps it blend in

It Technically Works, But Not Great
This is just a piece of really thin plastic molded to fit around the water valve. The lock that comes with it is also like something you'd get for a child to use with something that really doesn't need to be secure. All in all, this does cover up and technically lock the valve from being used, but anyone motivated enough can easily break this plastic cap right off or grab a pair of pliers to snap the lock off. It's a bit over priced if you ask me.
