I bought this in a set of three different Yamaha XS650 manuals

Looking for a way to understand the basics of my motorcycle-this does the trick.

Excellent manual to have in the garage! Haynes gives more schemas and diagrams than most general maintenance manuals, which helps when you need to do some of the more complicated tasks, like rebuilding carbs. I usually buy a Haynes and the actual shop manual for every bike I own, and between those two, I can do most of the work done myself.

At a glance the book seems brand new. upon closer inspection I found the book looks to have sat on a shelf for the last twenty years the bottom of the pages are pretty yellow but the pics and graphics are still picture purfect. also I found a snowboarding supply magazine in the front cover from 2002. Weird.

This book is not as detailed than the CLYMER manual, the Clymer manual is better for the person looking for detailed information on rebuilding or repairing. Also, I wasn't impressed with the quality of paper used with the Haynes manual, very off white and tiny print, which makes it difficult to read detailed information. I believe the Clymer manual is a better value, for me.

Shipping took a long time, but it was an informtive book

I used this book to totally disassemble my old bike and prepare it for restoration. I found it to be quite accurate and i think that it is a good value.

Real deal manual. Lots of info.

its pretty good even for an old biker like me who is only starting to get to grips with modern technology i like my instructions on paper
