OSRAM NIGHT BREAKER LASER HB3/9005, next generation, 150% more brightness, halogen headlamp, 9005NL-HCB, 12V, passenger car, duo box (2 lamps)

Replaced stock headlights on 2022 Malibu LT. Easy change, fit was as good as OEM. The change in brightness was amazing! We live in the hill country in Texas where all kinds of critters live - deer and feral pigs, occasional cow will challenge the durability of your vehicle! The extended light beam reach, brightness, and more ‘whiteness’ of these bulbs have made a HUGE difference during the night time drives.

Much improved over standard halogen

Waiting for longevity. The stock bulbs are almost 11 years old and still in good condition. But wanted more light so replaced.

I’ve got a 23 Elantra N-Line that came with factory halogens in projector lenses and I replaced those with LED bulbs but after a year the right one began to fail on me… so I decided to go back to Halogens and came across these being highly rated. They definitely provide a lot better lighting, a bit whiter and project a lot farther than the factory ones. While these won’t provide you with HID/LED white, they will definitely outperform OEM halogens. Only time will tell how long they will last!

Installed in Honda Crosstour. In high beam mode they are brighter, nearly white color, and "shoot" farther than stock high beams in the dark. They also function as daytime running lights (DRL) in this model Honda. The circuit apparently reduces the voltage which dims them substantially to a yellow color in DRL mode.

If you’re thinking these are your next bargain HID’s move on. They provide a noticeable but very marginal improvement in clarity, NOT brightness. They allow you to make out the road and objects a bit easier than original bulbs but they are not any brighter. I measured both the OEM’s and these for Lux and both provided the same exact Lux.

Bought these through recommendations on reddit for my 2015 WRX STI. I was looking for a halogen that was as close to white as I could get, but after easy installation they weren't what I was looking for. But since my oem were going out I kept them in. Till not even within the first month, someone let me know it was going out. Pulled up to a mirror and my Driver side is already for sure going out. You can notice how dim it is at night aswell. Would not recommend.

These are excellent for being halogens. I experimented with LEDs for a couple of years with lackluster results. Of course the LEDs were BRIGHT but the light was either dissipated all over the road and useless or it was focused on one hot spot and everything around it was dark. These Osram bulbs are bright white and cast a very complete and thorough beam across the entire road and down into the ditch. Money well spent.
