Currently use my garlic mincer/press all of the time. And have been looking for a grater that was reasonably priced. This is very easy to use, great price, and easy to clean. Giving it 4 stars because I had no idea what the sleeve was for, there are no instructions included, and I literally had to come look it up under other buyers questions. Upon reading other reviews, I wasn't the only one who found this to be an issue. Thanks everyone who knew that it was a peeler!

So I used this only twice and now it no longer works. I tried to use it this evening and it is stuck at the very end and no matter how hard I try, I cannot get it to slide back and forth. At least I really like the brush. It can be used with other graters, etc. This item is a let down!

I got one of these for my parents house, because they use alot of fresh garlic and they chop it.... they were all excited for this, all you do is put a piece or two of garlic in the hole area ... and grate away.... takes no time to get all the garlic they need done, took a 15 or so minutes job down to 3, I ended up having to order another one for my aunts house, one for mine, and ok ne fir a friend..... everyone loved it

Liked it for the 3 times I got to use it before it got stuck. Then my husband craved it trying to unstuck it. Gave the cute green rolling peeler to a friend and left this one in drawer. On to ginger grater #3. Ordered a stainless steel spoon like one to try next...

Works really well for garlic and ginger. I hate having the garlic smell on my hands and this little tool helps with that. you don't have to hold the garlic, just put in the little shoot and grate it. HIGHLY recommend!

I have a grater plate, which I love, but I've scraped my knuckles a couple times when getting close to the end and that's really painful. The slider takes care of that problem.
