Variety, Mentally Stimulating, Fun!
Pros - The game parts are very well made. They feel nice and sturdy in your hand, and they are visually pleasing. The board and cards setup pretty fast. Game play moves pretty fairly quick. Victory Points are gathered in several ways and we were surprised by who won the first game. You Camp at (occupy) some parks for points, collect stones, and buy (acquire) other parks. You have to play a few times to grasp the diversity of total points earned. On the first game we played, I thought I was losing, with only 3 parks acquired, but I ended up winning when all was tallied. It changed the way everyone played the second game. I'm looking forward to playing more and devising my strategy.Besides being a good, competitive game, it is fun to learn all the National Park names and locations. The game sparked a lot of fun player conversations and interactions. Game play had a mix of quiet, concentration on one's next move and joking, ribbing, helping and misdirecting conversation.Con - The one con I have is that only 5 players max. can play. My game group is 3 couples, 6 players so I am limited to play when I can find a smaller group. Hoping a player expansion will be available in the future?I very much recommend this game, especially if you love to camp and hike and enjoy the National Parks!

A little like Ticket to Ride
Why did you pick this product vs others?:Amazing game that is not strategy-heavy, allowing casual players to enjoy it. Some aspects remind me of Ticket to Ride. Easy enough for our children that are young elementary aged to play without a while lot of assistance.

great replay value, interesting, and informative
This is a top 10 game. It's easy to play, yet interesting every time, and it takes average 30 minutes to play (or less if you don't like too much thinking). You don't need to be a pro to win in this game. And while you're playing you are already planning which National Park you'll visit next.

Fun & Fun Solo
Got this for my niece who loves board games. It was so much fun to play. I love that it has short videos to explain how to play. And the solo play is great, just as good as playing with other, so when her brother won’t play with her she can play with this.

Simple, Fun Family Game
Our family enjoys playing board games, including fairly complex ones. We found the rule book straight forward and easy to understand. We also watched a tutorial for how to play. This game reminded us a bit of Ticket to Ride. We were a bit disappointed that the game seemed to end too soon (only had to explore 5 parks, which did not take long to do) and was a bit overly simplistic. The game was still fun, but we might add some house rules to increase the challenge level when we play in the future.

Super fun game! Quality Game!
I gave this to my parents because they love traveling to national parks. They love it! It's so fun, we love that there are so many ways you can try to play it, like methods to win - you can focus on beads, parks, campsites, blocking people XD The best way is typically a mix of all the things, you have to really multitask and be flexible based on what everyone else is doing. It's a high quality game, fun and beautiful board and cards and pieces, and I love the information! The cards have details about the different parks. It really makes you want to go visit them! Gives my parents ideas for which they want to see next, or again! So fun to play it with them, really good for people who are outdoorsy and enjoy going to places like that.

So much fun!
This game was a gift for my fourth grade grandson. It’s his favorite game to play right now.Pros: Beautiful game. Lots of room for strategy. Kind of like chess, you have to think ahead. Points are earned by collecting stones, claiming park cards, occupying one of the major national parks, and collecting the most of the various colors of stones. So, one player may be working to earn points by claiming parks and one may be working to collect points by collecting stones. The parks cards are fun to read! The first game we read every card we collected out loud to each other. There’s a place for everything in the box, and it fits easily. While the game board is not a scale map of the US, (because the proportion of National Parks in the West if greater) it does give a general idea of the location of the parks. The bear playing piece adds to the interest. The parks cards have beautiful, color photos from the parks. I was able to buy a companion book from Bink Ink, Trekking the National Parks, Park Guide Book. The book is fun to read on its own with more beautiful photos. We are already adjusting some of the rules to make the game, and the enjoyment of it, last longer.Cons: The rules were a little confusing initially. The first time we played, we did some things differently, but still had fun. There is video available of how to play, the paper with the video information was located as we were putting the game away. The board is quite large. My 30 inch round coffee table is the usual game spot, and the board overhangs the edges. We added a tv table to hold some of the cards that are layed out.
