Works great, is loud
What I love about this is it works great for my purposes, which is to label some things like phone blocks etc to deter sticky fingers lolI plan to use it on a standing floor fan I brought in to work and left there and some thermometers that need to be numbered.it's got 4 chisel pointed engraving tools and 2 screws that hold them in. 1 screw is already in the engraver. The stencils are handy and I like that this is corded not battery operated. If you don’t care about neat writing it’s good without stencils lol. It IS loud so make sure your sleeping grandbaby is not nearby lol

Gets the job done.
It is, of course, very loud. But these things always are. The main thing is it does the job very well. If you want an etching that’s even harder to remove, for security purposes, than a simple engraving tool can deliver, then this is your tool.

Absolute garbage. Will not work out of the box
This thing is useless. I spent a good two hours trying to get the screw into it. It simply will not fit with the tip in. And the set screw is tiny and black, so it flies away constantly as you try and brute force the poorly-made Chinesium into it. And there is only one screw in the box, so if you lose it, tough luck. It's 8-32, but thanks to the retarded collar they welded onto the thing you have to use very specific tiny screws to replace it (unless you want to buy their $25 replacement part kit ;) ). I bought this because it was highly-rated and cheap, so my expectations weren't high. But I expected it to at least work without having to go to the hardware store to replace a faulty screw. I'll probably just superglue it in and then rip it apart later for spare wires. Actually, this might not be a bad deal if you want an assortment of motor parts and wires.
