Holes too big for salt. I have to cover half the holes with my finger and shake carefully when using it so that I don't get way too much on my food. Works well for basil, etc. However, not quite big enough for parmesan.

It's hard to beat a simple design! These fill easy, dispense easily and look nice. The lids can be a little tricky to get to screw on straight, and you always want to open the lids over a sink because salt gets caught in the lid and spills out when opened.

I like them the holes on the top are just the right size. I like that they are not plastic and top is stainless. But with one set it got a little rust on the stainless from Celtic sea salt, but in all honesty Celtic sea salt is pretty moist. So not a deal breaker for me.I’ve been using this type of salt/pepper forever and happy to find them again. I’ve purchased many types of shakers but always come back to this type.

It's my fault. They looked bigger in the picture and I didn't notice that they were only 3 inches tall. I wanted a set that was like the ones I grew up with. These will require filling constantly and are probably meant to be used by each individual person. I'll keep them and order a different set.

Like these just fine, but not only are they small so they have to be filled often....but also the holes are large causing the salt/pepper to flow through heavily and fast! I still use them, but just try to be careful not to over-salt or over-pepper.

We've owned these at home for three years, and I'm back now to buy my second set for work. Figured I'd write a review while I'm here:The lids don't rust like other cheap ones I've owned. I see here that there are a few reviews about them being small, for my family they're perfect! Probably not the right size for a restaurant or large family, but fine for the rest of us.

These salt and pepper shakers are just what they look like: no fuss and plain. But, be advised, the holes in the tops of both shakers are the same size. I am used to smaller holes for pepper and larger for salt, and I bought them for a specific purpose and that mattered. So, that is disappointing for me.

Had to return the first set because the screw-on caps didn't fit. The replacement fits but wish the caps turned more smoothly. We use these to shake olive oil and sea salt onto plain popcorn - healthier and tastes better than butter!

You put the salt and pepper in, screw the tops back on, and shake the seasonings out when required. I love it.

They are a little bit smaller than I was expecting but overall not bad, does the job looks very nice.

I used them for salt and pepper, was looking for a pair with large holes, all my other ones holes are too small.

These are close to what I was expecting although the holes in the shakers are quite large so that the salt and pepper come out very quickly.
