Extremely high viscosity and quick setting - perfect for plastics
This CA glue has ideal characteristics for bonding plastics. It can penetrate the micro-surfaces to create a strong bond on plastic to plastic. I used it to glue a broken tab onto an ABS automotive intake grill. Little tabs have very low surface area and are traditionally difficult to bond with CA glue. I had previously used the common Professional series Loctite CA glue that one finds everywhere and it did not create a strong bond despite proper prep (CA primer, sanding). Applying light lateral force to the tab would snap it off. The 406 created a much stronger bond and did not suffer the same failure (that said, ABS cement is superior for this application). It also worked well to glue a tiny part for an RC car.

Great for securing knots in braided fishing line
This super glue is great for securing fishing knots in braided fishing line and for securing soft plastic jigs to metal jig heads.

Loctite Is Wonderful!!
This glue is Wonderful!! I had this cracked dressmaker’s ruler & tried 3 other glues & they didn’t work!! Then I purchased the Loctite Super Glue & It Worked!!!! Thank You! Thank You!!

This stuff is sticky!
When all other glues failed me, and I tried several, this glue did the job. I used it on a mudflap to hold rubbers washers on the surface.
