The Big Book of Practical Spells: Everyday Magic That Works Kindle Edition

I'm a huge fan of this author, so I made sure to get her latest. Some of the information in here is a repeat of her Encyclopedia of 5,000 Spells book, but still a very valuable reference tool for those that practice magic(k). One of this author's strengths is that she discusses magical practices from around the world and is light on the "morality" side (she basically just says use your best judgement as opposed to preaching the Wiccan Rule of 3).I couldn't recommend this book more for beginners or more advanced Witches/Root Workers/Conjurers, etc. Excellent!

Practical, friendly, down-to-earth, and yet full of magic. This is how I like my magic books :) - I love the grounded voice that Judika writes with, and the book is rich with information - both breadth and depth. I'm pretty new to witchery, so you might want to take that into account, but for a beginner - and I think an experienced practitioner too, because of all the spell recipes - this is a GREAT book. I have the Kindle edition, and it's worked out great.

I will own everything by this author she is frequently on Coast to Coast and I really appreciate her take on the craft. It really mirrors my own. There are a lot of books out there - Her stuff is a conversational read. It's positive magic. I appreciate her work.

I'm only half done reading it, but I'm very pleased with it. I'm just starting into witchcraft, it is easy to understand, and explains things well. I will be looking for more books from her.

Found an easy spell I liked, and which added to my knowledge, immediately upon starting to leaf through the book. I was looking for some easy rituals, and this seems to fit the bill, at least from what I have seen so far.

This is a hefty book. It has a ton of spells. It’s literally 3-4 inches thick. You could use the thing as a weapon. Lol but I’m all seriousness, the spells are good and this is an awesome gift! You can find literally anything you want or need. I love this book!

I love referring to Judika's books as I travel along my path, and I am slowly but surely converting all my previously owned hard-covered books to kindle editions of ease of transport. It is great to have this one in it's updated format.

Get it, read it....one of the best reference books on spells. Ms. Illes is wonderful!!!!

I love Book Depository!they have smart packaging, the books always are like new or near new, never had a problem.I work at a comic book shop and if i can't find the item someone needs I send them to Book Depository.The Book in question, will work well for the homework I'm doing. It has a quick over view of the craft itself, they call it "Magic 101" which I agree with. The balk is filled with spells as advertisedWould recommend for dabblers, beginners, a must have for the bookshelf of a Witch
