This pan is fabulous! It yields perfect little shortcake cups!

Love this .Excellent quality cleans up well. Made brownies and put ice cream in the cups for a party. Yummmy!!

I bought this as an alternative to my Brownie Bowl Pan, which makes 6 almost too large cakes-- like one is big enough for two.I wanted a smaller, individual size cake, and this 12-well pan is perfect! I use it for sponge cake (fill with pudding), corn bread ( fill with chili), even hash brown bowls for egg cups. So versatile.Arrived promptly, no scratches. The instructions are in German, but I figured out they say it can bake as high as 446 F.

The cakes are a bit smaller than I would like. I make a 'doctored' cake mix; it yields 2 batches for this pan plus a couple 6" Wilton cake pans. Sprayed pan for the first batch; flipped & they fell out. Did not spray second time & had to use spatula. Underfill the pan unless you want big bottom cakes. Second time I filled just above center indention/cup.

I love this pan. I've had it for a while and finally got the chance to use it and the results were great as you can see in the picture. I'm ordering another one so I can make more at one time.This is a great pan, one if my favoritesThe shell cavities measure 2 3/4" in diameter, and are 1 1/2" deep. The center indentation measures 1 3/4" in diameter and is 1/2" deep.They are smaller that a regular cupcake pan cavity, but larger than mini muffin pan cavities.

A very clever idea for cupcakes! While I'm very pleased with the function of the pans (I bought two), I was disappointed in the "condition" of one of the pans. The shipping box was not at all damaged so I assume it was dented/bent and scraped in the warehouse. The little bit of damage doesn't affect the use of the pan, but for the price, I kinda expected better. Or you could have knocked a couple of bucks off the price 😉Using the pans took me a bit of fiddling. I used a good amount of "baking spray containing flour" 7 out 8 batches. Got distracted with the 8th, forgot to spray, and the cakes didn't release as easily, had to run a little spatula around each. No, I don't clean the pans between batches, I use a paper towel to wipe out some of the bigger crumbs though.Over filling with batter was my next goof, thinking I really had to cover the "bump", *not* thinking the batter will rise. So, some batches have muffin-top bottoms.Lastly, not bothering to check the "instructions" wrapper before throwing it away, I had to fiddle with timing. Yes, every oven is different, so I initially went with my cupcake bake time of 18 minutes. At about 9 minutes in, it occurred to me the "cup" part of the pan gives more baking heat surface, so I checked them. For my oven, turns out 11 minutes is the best amount of bake time! I made 8 dozen clever little "cupped" cupcakes for strawberry shortcake. The "cupped" part seems small for the amount of strawberries I use, so I might just do the whipped cream in the "cup" with strawberries all over the top. Idk yet.... but, overall, I'm pretty darn pleased with these Zenker pans!Update: OK, loving these Zenker pans after 6-doz chocolate "cupped" cakes with peanut butter cream filling!

I love the sturdy construction of this pan. My little tarts were smaller than expected. My brain was seeing those little yellow sponge cakes you can buy at the market. These come out about half the size of those, like two bites. Figure two per person if you're making them for a party. Homemade does taste better than store bought, so end result, I would purchase again. Save time, order two if you expect a crowd
