Great for the price!
This sheath/scabbard is exactly as advertised. It's not flashy, but it's legit leather, thick, sturdy, and a tight fit for a most larger bladed swords. If you're looking for a showpiece, you might need to accessorize it or decorate it a bit, but if you're looking for something practical, or a more "workmanlike" aesthetic, it's awesome.

Good quality
Looks good, good quality but missing the straps.

Perfect fit
Bought a broadsword with a 30" blade, this was the only sheath in that category on amazon. Fits the blade perfectly and doesn't let it slip out.

It is a good sheath for a normal sword or bokken
It is a good sheath for a normal sword or bokken. However, if you want to fit a hand and a half Cold Steel or similar sized sword one would have to oil and stretch the sheath to fit which can cause the stitching holding buckles on the sheath to come loose.

Good sheath for the price.
This sheath us perfect for my claymore sword. It is not as skinny as some are stating. I have tested it on my swords that are 38" in length and it fits them just fine.

My 38” sword fit well.
About 1” of my sword sticks out.

Great quality, just be sure to measure width of blade
Excellent quality and many options for attaching it. Only thing is it's not quite wide enough for one of my swords although the length is perfect so it couldn't fit all the way. So be sure to check the width of the blade at the widest part.
