Works well for an indoor antenna. For really good reception on the 1.09 GHZ range, you do need an outdoor antenna for goodd ADS-B reception. (SEE Flight Aware) Good for the money an indoor antenna. Get the outdoor prostick for great reception.

This antenna works well for a 1/4 wave, I use it for my ADS-B system, It is important to get it out and in the open for decent results, it is mounted on my swamp cooler outside in a protected area, this is not actually an outdoor antenna but seems to continue to work well, for better results I suggest a 5/8 outdoor vertical mounted clear of trees or dwelling but this small antenna would be a good way to get into ADS-B.

Set up a FightAware ADS-B receiver using this antenna. Getting good reception even when placed on a 2nd floor window.
