I have used a variety of toe nail clippers before with barely satisfactory results. In particular, my large toe nails were very difficult if not impossible to cut. I would have to file them down. But these clippers, with curved diagonal blades, really work. I found they work best after a bath or shower, after my nails have softened slightly. And I have found that they work when the curve faces inward, towards your toe nails. Now I can trim all 10 toenails flush with the end of my toes! They are very sturdy, like as work tool, and well worth the money. Because my large toenails are so thick, it takes some effort to clip them. So the 4 stars for ease of use may be that I'm a "senior" with some limitation on mobility and strength, but I must admit they are the best I have ever found. They do the job and my search for what I need to cut my thick toenails is over.

I bought these for my senior dad; he’s had horrible toenails for as long as I can remember. He called me one day in pain, his nail had grown so long it was hitting his shoe, and normal nail clippers wouldn’t even budge. I ordered these and had them delivered to him, I’ve never seen him so hyped over a pair of nail clippers! He said it trimmed and cut like butter, so easy! Now I want to order myself a pair :)

This is the first time I've used this type of nail clippers and they did a fantastic job of doing my toenails! I wonder how I did without them for so many years.In the past, I've used the standard type of nail clippers ( my nails are so thick they could not handle the pressure to do the job, they bent )!I have resorted in using regular side cutters from my tool box ( blunt ended ), needle nosed pliers and a thin bladed screwdriver. None of which have done the job compares to this nail clipper.Now I have to figure out how to keep the foot on the other leg from slipping off.

It is an excellent instrument and easy to use. Very good for tough nails. Judy make sure you have it right side up for clipping and be careful with use as you can nip your skin if you are not careful.

I didn’t even know they made these type of clippers until I had to replace an older pair. These are comfortable and easy to use. Very sharp, clips the thickest nails. Great quality.

Size,could be smaller. Once I figured the clamp out, how to position it, I was fine. Clip nails after shower when soft. I would have given it 4 stars, but I had to figure it out,came with no instructions. The cost as well was a little high compared to price in stores.

These are REALLY sharp and easy to maneuver, even for old and tired hands. The `jaw' is wide enough for the thickest nails and still easy to cut. The handles are comfortable with no hand strain or finger pressure. It's a relief to have them. I recommend them highly.

Very disappointed in this product. This is a cheap snipper tool you can buy at any hardware store for a couple of bucks. The cutting edges are not smooth and sharp. The blade is curved and bevelled so it is very awkward to hold in a comfortable position and cut a toenail. When you do get it to cut, the toenail edge is rough and jagged requiring you to use an emmery board after clipping, else your toenails will snag your socks.My fault for falling for this - toe nail clippers need to be sharp, smooth and ergonomically suited for the task.
