Higgins Veracruz Blend Bird Food 3lb

I highly recommend Higgins Veracruz Blend .. I know it's delicious when more goes into my bird's mouths than hits the floor of the cage, not only is it healthy for my birds, but saves me money. Why? Because if my birds don't like the food I offer they throw it outside of the cage, or onto the floor of their cage, either way, it's a loss. With Higgin's blends, less food goes to waste, it's in the stomach of my birds, where it ought to be. Thank you!

My bird likes it, so that's all that matter

Sadly, this food is part of the reason why my bird is lipemic, has a slightly enlarged liver, and is slightly overweight. She used to love it - I used to love it. But, she eats the nuts first and ignores most everything else. I switched her to pellets a year ago. Results: she is still slightly overweight, I didn't Xray her liver again, and she is NOT lipemic. The nut portion of this food is not a complete diet and your bird won't eat much else. Your bird should be eating pellets. Other things in this food, I can offer her as treats. Nuts etc. shouldn't be the main part of the diet.

why is this product so hard to get? it's a top notch parrot food, I have three parrots and they just love it. I always make sure to order in advance before we run out. Higgins is a wonderful product and we have healthy birds because of it.

My birds love to eat. Arrows can be picky and not eat well if they do not like their food. My do. I also give r fresh fruit and veggies too.

This food is great! I just wish my 28 year old cockatoo thought so. He is the pickiest eater ever. But the wild birds and squirrels love his leftovers.

I buy this mix and mix with a 3lb bag of pellets. They get a variety of seed, nuts, dried fruit and pellets.

My African Grey just loves this blend of bird food. It is really a nice blend and I've ordered it again and will continue to do so.
