Perfect hold
Very good product. Used on pea gravel, pond gravel, and wood mulch. I love it. I do however recommend using an electric paint sprayer. The recommended pump sprayers can't handle the thick liquid, they clog pretty quick. I used two different type of pump sprayers initially. I spent more time unclogging the sprayer heads than I sprayed. Until I picked up the paint sprayer. I used the home decor sprayer. Made it quick and easy, and clean up was simple as well.

Awesomeness!I punctured holds in the top of the lid, to pour over gravel rocks in my artificial flowers pots. This technique secured not only the rocks but the inserted flowers.Thank you for the quality of your product!

Great, but…
Update 2 months after application: didn’t hold. Just didn’t. None of it. We used 4 gallons of it and it didn’t hold with the dogs & regular walking. This product would be great for an area that is hardly trafficked & just wanting a clean look all the time. If the area is trafficked at all, and the gravel is more than one layer deep (as it is recommended to be) then it doesn’t hold. This product would be great in a garden for mulch that isn’t walked on as well. Won’t buy again for the same purpose, but if needed for little projects like mulch, maybe. We have a lot of pea gravel we have used in our back patio area. With 2 large dogs, we needed something to keep it off the flagstone pavers. We bought a yard spray bottle for application. This product works great for the most part and in a basic way. It will not adhere all of the rocks together, it will adhere the ones directly hit by the stream of glue. If those are on top of other rocks and get moved, then that clump moves as a whole which can make the situation worse almost. It clogged the sprayer numerous times. We had to use 2 5-gallon buckets for our little backyard and need more still. It is permeable which is nice for water & does a great job at keeping the rocks in tact between the pavers. It does a great basic job, but for the price and the amount needed to complete the project, along with needing reapplication, I’m unsure that it is worth it. For small spaces, it would be great for a quick fix. However, if your gravel is 2” deep, that is 2” deep of gravel that needs coated in order to fully do as advertised which is near impossible.

$170 WASTED AND LESSON LEARNED
If you read the entire page of the ad you will see in one sentence it is not recommended for for rubber mulch. There is a half a dozen places that say it is designed to hold rock, much, gravel, sand, other ground cover etc.. I try to do quite a bit of research and found this to be a good value but once I got and used it I can say it was much thinner than most other products and contained less volume of product based on the SDS sheet. It contains a higher percentage of water by volume and still maintained enough small clumps the size of a piece of fingernail that is clogged my battery powered sprayer every 3-4 minutes. After trying many of these products to find a solution for rubber mulch the best results I got was just a 2 gallons of hot water to 1 gallon of all purpose glue mixture. This product does not work AT ALL on rubber mulch.....not even a little bit.

This is my second order!
This is my second order. My first order was two years ago when I decided to give this product a try and see if it lived up to the hype. Well, let me tell you, it works! It’s still strong after two years, and it feels like concrete when I walk on it. This stuff is incredibly strong, reliable, and easy to use. I can now blow the leaves off my driveway and yard without worrying about the mulch and rocks moving around. However, if you’re using a backpack sprayer, make sure to clean it out immediately after use. Also, I wouldn’t recommend using this product around flowers and trees. It may prevent them from getting the right amount of water.

MUST BE FILTERED BEFORE USE!!
I knew this was a white glue emulsion, so I expected there to be some challenges in spraying. However, I did NOT anticipate that there would be lots of ‘cottage cheese’ solids that would not dissolve with ample shaking. In fact, some of the solids were dried chunks that plugged all openings and orifices. After causing hours of delays due to plugged sprayers, I finally went to the hardware store to purchase some paint filter funnels which helped considerably. I also purchased some cheap spray bottles because even filtered, the product clogs a pump sprayer. I got into the habit of flushing the disposable spray bottle with water each time I refilled it with filtered product. What should have been an hour long project took over 5 hours due to suspended solids, constant plugging, frequent sprayer cleaning, etc. The product does cure pretty quickly, which makes immediate clean-up a necessity.I’m giving it 3 stars in the hope that the effort was worth it since I’m tired of watching $40 of mulch blow away in our 30 mph windy afternoons. I gave the beds a good, even coating. If it doesn’t work, I will update the review.
