Promax LS Lower Sugar Protein Bar, Honey Peanut, 1.72 Pound

I shop seriously for protein bars. I'm reasonably picky as it usually is one of my 'meals'. I love these as they are not overly sweet or difficulty to eat having nuts etc. I need low to no sugar and this fits the bill. I try to always have a box on hand but even my kids love them I have to hide them since they have their own version from another manufacturer. Wish there were more low to no sugar flavours with simple clear taste and not, repeat NOT having chocolate in or on them. Yuk I hate chocolate in my protein bars that it another reason I love these.

It had protein crisps and what not. But the flavor was very artificial and abnormally sweet. Will go with other options from now on.

Can't eat them. You know how something is supposed to tasted like raspberries but the best it can do is taste a sickly sweet red? Well this tastes like sickly sweet brown. No honey, no nuts, no nuttin', honey. I turned them over to my wife who LOVES sweet and even she would eat them. Based on that experience I thought of giving them to my dogs, but I like my dogs.

does not taste as good as the other flavors

These are pretty good - not overly sweet. You can taste the protein in them, so they don't taste like a candy bar - I like them best with dark roast coffee.

The taste of these could have been better. Not bad for the price though.
