This is a great heavy duty toy for puppies or dogs that loves to destroy things. It appears to be indestructible and does not beak apart leaving little pieces around. You can use it for tugging and retrieving along with playing in the pool or water. My dog also loves chewing on it. It has become his favorite toy. The size is larger than I expected which was a pleasant surprise. Great product.

This is the second one we got for our Shepherd in 4 years. Also still have the old one. It's pretty beat up finally. But we have to wait for her to "season" the new one before we take it.

Has lasted the longest with an aggressive rope chewing dog. Will still find rope strings from time to time but not strands like in the past with other ropes. Would buy again.

My dog loved this toy, unfortunately, he has the ability to destroy rope toys with ease. He was quickly able to chew off one of the rope knots. We did have to throw away the rope but we kept the middle piece because he enjoys playing with it. The dog toy is definitely of a quality toy and I'm glad I bought it despite its quick demise. Even without the rope it still provides some entertainment.

We bought this toy for our German Shepherd, a 90 lb male who is obsessed with "fetch". In between games of fetch, our dog chews on this almost constantly; he takes it to bed with him, and none of the other dogs can have it. We have gone through dozens of ropes (his preferred texture) with him, and this one has lasted forever. We replaced it earlier this year because somehow, my husband threw it up onto the roof. In our experience, this is the Holy Grail of dog toys for big, aggressive chewers. Leo gives it a paws-up.

The rope part is great but the black “durable” part is not very durable with aggressive chewers. Within the first 20 minutes I had to pick it up because already parts of the black were being chewed off. Except for that issue, it is a very nice product. My dogs just have buzz saws for teeth and I was hoping this worked. I still give it to them but only for a few minutes at a time. Maybe at some point I will simply cut the black toy off and leave them with the rope. It is very popular with them when they get a chance at it. They can even destroy the black super tough Kong toys so guess I would be better with ropes without the additional chew toy.
