Check the exact dimensions to the millimetre of the one it is replacing. The one recommended was short by 2mm

The screw hole to fit the handle to was a different size to the original Hudson Reed valve so the screw didn't fit, would have been useful if it had come with a screw, but it works no more dripping shower, time will tell if its a quality part

It would be great if amazon helped with a identification of parts required to a problem. When a photo is presented the technician department could advise on parts required for a showers and tap .

Leaks more than the 8 year old cartridge it was bought to replace, total junk product

Valves don't stop water flow. No problems with the seller, they kindly sent a replacement (which didn't work either...) gave up & bought some from ebay for £6.99 which worked perfectly, search for "Ceramic Tap Valve/Cartridge 3/4" Cold Replacement 20 Spline"
