Came promptly , it is what it is but I’m not expecting close examination .Personally I’m not too keen on having a dagger stuck down my sock when I go out. I know the purists will not agree and I respect that opinion, but there is also the cost for something you shouldn’t be taking out in public (in my personal opinion) especially at social events , this item is well priced and safe .Not sure l would take to the airport and whilst it’s ok in theory , I can imagine being held up at security . It still has the appearance of a dagger .An excellent item and good value .

I wanted to get my son a ‘flight safe’ Sgian dubh. This one looked fine on the web site and indeed does the job. The pewter embellishments are a little heavy but once it is in the sock you can’t really tell.

I thought these would be light plastic but they r a good weight and have metal bits. They r big enough for an adult too. I hired kilts for my grandsons 8+10 but they didn't get Sgian dubh's. The hire kilt their dad got came with a Sgian dubh and these r the same size and looked almost the same except their dads one had a green stone in the top. The boys love theirs and can keep them in their memory box. They will have them for the next time they wear a kilt.
