I looove these spikes! I put them on an oversized distressed jean jacket and it’s so cute. The spikes are real metal (I checked with a magnet) and have a pretty good weight on them. I covered the shoulders and collar in spikes on my jacket.The way I applied them was by poking a small hole in the jean with scissors, then putting the screw threw and twisting the spike on top. I only hand tightened my spikes and they seem to be staying in pretty tightly. I don’t think you should use this same method with leather. I don’t know how leather would react with all the little tiny holes. This is a quality product and if I ever make another cool grungey jacket I’d order these in a heartbeat.

I bought these for my knee high canvas sneakers based on DIY posts/videos for spiking Converse sneakers, and they do not disappoint! I was able to secure all of my spikes by hand once the holes were poked. My one caution is that the posts barely stick up high enough to screw down the spikes when applied to the thicker areas of canvas around the heel, so I doubt these would work if trying to spike the rubber toe area of Converse shoes. Other than that, I am very happy! A quantity of 100 means I have plenty left for other projects such as spiking a denim jacket, which I'm sure will be much easier!

I have a miniature Australian shepherd puppy that loves to play with my neighbors German Shepherd puppy. However the German Shepherd puppy is three times the size of my dog and does not know play manners yet. It grabs my puppy around the neck swings it around even though it’s in play it doesn’t know it’s on strength. I was hoping that this would deter the other puppy from biting down so hard on my puppies neck but then I began to felt guilty once I purchased them because they were so sharp and I didn’t want to enter the puppy I might just buy some that aren’t quite so sharp and give it a try and then if the German Shepherd puppy isn’t affected by the other ones I may switch out a few of them for these sharper kind or more if needed. I still feel bad…

Construction is well worth the money. They are difficult to screw together, but once they are together they hold well.

I was afraid at first on the size of they would have been too long and heavy for a hat. But that was far from it. They were the perfect size and so easy to install no fabric punch was needed. Im definitely getting more of these when i run out. Plus side they are sharp as s***. Good defensive device. My company does allow weapons but one good headbutt (or flail) will give me good protection from would be assailants

First off, I received 105 spikes and 88 backs. Out of the 88 backs, only 82 were usable (see pictures). Luckily they have M3 threads and I had some short M3 screws/washers leftover from another project. If I had received 100 backs that were usable, this review would have been 5 stars. The quality of the spikes is great. The quality of the backs is not for the following reasons:- Most of the screwdriver slots on the heads weren't centered.- Some of the screwdriver slots weren't deep enough for a screwdriver to even work.- A couple screws were mangled beyond recognition.- A few weren't even the right size or length.Overall, I would probably still buy these again. I would just make sure I had extra M3 screws.

it was good overall added a cool look to my homemade trypp nyc pants but fell apart sometimes

These aren’t too sharp, they are just right, very sturdy, and easy to use :-)
