Fantastic time-saving product!
This was such an exciting parcel to receive in the post! All the paper pieces already cut and neatly sorted and labelled ready for the customer to do all the fun stuff with the fabric - with none of the time-consuming printing and paper-cutting. The 'oversize' (1.5 original size) templates suit me, as they're a bit easier to handle and make a full bed-size quilt more do-able than the original sized templates would have done. I went for 1/4" seams on the templates, but if I was ordering this again, I would go for the 3/8" seams to make life easier when attaching the fabric to the paper pieces.

Fun!!
I bought the book with templates and papers that have the larger seam allowance. The larger seam allowance works fine for the larger templates but not so well for the smaller pieces. Having large seam allowance means too much fabric when sewing the pieces together. I will figure it out but I did not consider that when I bought this ensemble. If you buy this book with templates and papers be prepared to embark on a journey, a process ....as it requires much fabric and obsessing....all in a good way! I am enjoying the process and will be at it for a quite a long time!

Advanced hand stitching project that's so fun!
After thinking about this quilt for a few years, I took the plunge and bought the book, acrylic templates, and paper pieces. I think this whole thing is pretty pricey, but it's really what you need to do the quilt. A few years ago I spent $25 for a weenie package of the paper pieces. Without a book or instructions about how to use them, I stuck them in the drawer. Finally I was able to start my first rosette piece. It is definitely an advanced hand sewing project that's going to take a long time to complete. But it's so fun and addictive to build the rosette! And I totally recommend DYI Addict (Karen)'s youtubes. She has so many wonderful tips and takes the scariness out of starting.

Pricey but inspirational project,a must have!
While this package is an expensive proposition, I received a wonderful gift card which handled most of the expense, and decided to splurge. The author’s amazing talent and the DIY platform which provides the book and templates were each flawless in the execution. Completely inspirational project will keep me busy for a long time! Thanks.
