Works as advertised. Used to hold up a shade sail. Works flawlessly and good value for the money. If you want to tie something down, or hold something up, this product will work for you.

Wow tough crowd! I like how people thought they were buying a large tie down for a motorcycle, or kayak to be strapped down. I've used these over a year and they have so many uses a traditional bungee does not have. Not to say it replaces a bungee because some times you need something springy. What is nice about these is they are surprisingly strong for there size and unlike most bungee cords these are adjustable from 1" to 5' of usable hold down flexibility. Hate seeing a good product being bashed because people purchased these for there unintended use. No you can't strap your boat or motorcycle down but you can use it very effectively to hold items down in your boat or strap items down to your motorcycle very effectively! These are a great product! As well great value! Big box store are much more exspensive for these same hold downs.

PROGRIP 056390 Tie Down with Snap Hooks:This is a light duty non-stretch tie down cord assembly.Product specs indicate it is rated for 100 pounds breaking strength.I am not sure why the package states the product is 10 times stronger than a bungee cord? I would not recommend this product for any application that could possibly result in an accident or injury. Use this item for stationary applications only. It is not ideal for securing items being transported. I am using two of these adjustable cord assemblies to secure the bottom edges of each outdoor Coolaroo shade to my metal balcony railing. They are working great to keep the shades from buffeting in the wind when lowered to block sun light. I highly recommend them for this application because they don’t require drilling holes or using screw anchors.

Love everything about these but the strap is pretty short. Really easy to use and has held up well!

Use them on my kayak e scooter truck Brad and on my boat love these thing just wish they were cheaper

Great straps and easy to use. Only issue is the weak spring tension on the hooks, they do not snap back well. Still work great.

This is a great product for securing smaller items or items that require less force to secure. The shipping times is pathetic. Takes them approximately 1 week plus to ship items that show to be in stock. If you can find these elsewhere, buy them there.

I use these when traveling to secure things in the back of the vehicle so that they don't bang against each other. I've given them to friends that I thought could use them.
