K2 VO2 90 Boa Skates Men's Size 9.5

Updated after writing too manufactures and receiving a refund. Love these skates, so comfortable and great control. Not needed to be done but still a good idea, wear them for a hour to break them in. I wear size 9 shoe, so of course go up half or full size. I got 9 half size and very tight getting on and off which brings me to the boa tightening system. Not laced boots, it’s a wire connected to a turn wheel that let’s you tighten the boot after riding for a while. Tightening is all it will do, it will not get lose. So beware of that before tightening. The reason for sending them back, there is a Velcro strap on them that well for I all know does nothing. But it straps over the wire laces holding them down??? Ya it’s boa system sooooo what’s with the Velcro strap that ripped off and now can’t tighten the system? So a refund is on the way and I really want to ride these skates, so if same size is there expect me back
