Cute Little SS litter box
This was a perfect sturdy stainless steel litter box because I wanted to get another one for a different area in my house. FYI to Amazon if they are reading: this one was packaged poorly in a paper padded envelope and I was shocked when I opened the envelope and it wasn't dented. This needs a box.

My foster kittens dig it (get it)
Oh, everyone should go stainless with litter boxes. Some of them are painfully thin metal and feel like they will bend if you look at them. This box, is beefy! Sturdy and tall (the description says low entry- this is not totally true**). Taller is also good, as you should have 2-3 inches of litter in the box (less for Sr cats if needed). The taller boxes (no matter the material) can sometime be an issue with my "littles" as they are too short to get in a box and need to climb on the edge to get in- plastic boxes can tip on them. This box is tall- but it is also heavy. I normally foster the tiny tiny bottle babies, when they are about 3 weeks old, they get introduced to a box- for the first week or so, just a flat cardboard box works really well, no need to climb in (or out- sad cries from kittens stuck in the box ;-) but at 5 weeks, when we start weaning, they are over a pound and have more uumm...waste than a small cardboard box is going to be able to deal with. So, we graduate to "big cat" boxes. Plastic seems great, but like I mentioned a 1 (or 2 lb- looking at you Stanley) pound kitten, who is short and has not learned they can jump yet can easily be heavier than the box and flip it over. Not so with good heavy stainless steel. Metal boxes are also so much easier to clean and sterilize- plastic gets scratches for bacteria to grow, even if the scratch is not deep, there are micro abrasions over time. it is recommended to fully replace a plastic box every 6 to 9 months(or sooner). Stainless steel boxes are a larger upfront cost, but they outlast many many plastic boxes making the cost difference negligible in the long run. I put this box out, filled it with litter and immediately 2 of my 4 cats made use of the facility- they approve. ** if you have a senior cat or one with some mobility issue, this might too tall for them. The rim is the same height all the way around- there is no "dip" in front like a plastic box woudl have. Measure what you already have for the arthritic or mobility challenged first ;-)

Compact, stainless, easy to clean
The Tehoao Stainless Steel Kitty Litter Box is a great item for smaller cats. It is rectangular, however, appears a bit small for the average full sized cat. It measures close to 14.5 inches lengthwise and approximately 10.5 inches from top to bottom in usable space. What is good about this litter box is that it makes it easy to wash out, even when there are wet clumps stuck at the bottom. My cat actually used it but seemed a bit uncomfortable, possibly due to the size. Would have been nice if the box had a little more length on the longer sides to allow more comfort. With the size there also appears to be a bit more of a mess as more litter seems to be kicked or transferred from the box to the floor. It would be a more practical application for a kitten or smaller sized cat.

Good quality. Works as advertised
I had an old dark red litterbox that fit in the small space between my toilet and cabinet. We were gone for a year and rented out out house, and for some reason the wacky renters took it. I have been looking high and low for a replacement - something that would match the bathroom and would fit the space. I also have a 17year old cat who needs a low entry. This fit the bill, so I decided to try it. Pros - It is stainless steel, so it fits in with most decor - It is easy to clean - There are no sharp corners. - It is a thick metal and very solid- The entry is low so it is easy for small critters and seniors to use, but not so low that it does not hold litter well (I was worried that it would be too short for my needs and I almost didn't get it. I was wrong. It works fine). Cons - I wish the edge was smaller/rounded over vs a flat lip. For something this small, every little bit of extra room inside the pan helps. The measurements are from the lip. not from the bottom. You lose an inch of space to the edges (they are .5in). - Since it is so small, be prepared to be adding in litter a lot. I am having to add it every 3 days. Overall, this litter pan works as advertised. It is more kitten/small animal sized, and I appreciate that the seller's pictures reflect that properly. I probably won't find an exact replacement for my old box (which was a full 12in, longer, and a little taller), but this one works for now. To my amazement, none of the cat's have have peed over the edge (they pee high in my taller boxes). All of them are using it too. In the pictures, the orange cat and senior lilac siamese is 8lbs, the larger siamese is 10lbs.

Stainless steel metal is the way to go
I recently switched to this stainless steel sifting litter box and honestly, it’s been a nice upgrade from the usual plastic ones. Especially when I am picking it up to throw the heavy cat litter away. I feel sometimes the plastic is very brittle and can break off. First off, it feels really sturdy. If you have a cat that loves to dig like they are on a mission, this holds up way better without getting scratched up or holding onto odors over time. The stainless steel surface also makes cleanup a lot easier since nothing really sticks to it. It works best with regular clumping clay litter and keeping about 1.5 to 2 inches in there seemed to give the best results without anything getting stuck. The size we chose works great for smaller pets or kittens, but it’s nice that there are larger options if you’ve got a full grown cat or multiple cats sharing the space. The metal doesn't hold onto any smells either, the metal doesn't absorb smell like plastic ones do. My only wish is that it came with liner options included so I wouldn’t have to hunt down a matching one separately. Overall though, it’s durable, easy to clean, and makes the whole litter box routine a little less of a chore. The solid metal tray is a great value for money in the long run because we don't have to change out the plastic ones when they get damaged.
