BRITA Marella water filter jug, MAXTRA+, Blue - XL size + Pack of 3 Cartridges

I brought this - as the last one I brought which was a different make, which I done a review about.. was terrible. The filter wouldn’t even go on properly and when it did you would see black stuff and bits in the glass! Anyway, I have heard from a lot of people Brita are the best :) I brought the purple colour and it’s such a nice colour. The filter works SO good, and the water tastes much nicer and it’s clear. I hate tap water, I can’t drink it. I also, find it pretty disgusting how much stuff there is in tap water! Besides it’s much nicer having a filter jug and it being kept fresh and cold, straight from the fridge. Make sure you do change your filter , as otherwise it is useless and also, would build up bacteria.Please make sure you follow the instructions on how to prepare the filter, as I didn’t and noticed little black bits floating around in the water. This is because I did not get the filter out and shake it under tap water and then flush it out through 2 litres of water.

Ni e design and easy to ize. Eater flsp lsock in open.position so no accidental closing when filling and getting covered in water like its predecessor. Whole family uses this now.Works vety well, water tastes real good, no more plaztic bottles. Cartridges last a while and lcd indicator tells you when to chsnge them. Ideal.Cannot fault it.

Value for money, easy to install with leaving a bitter taste in one's mouth.

This item comes complete with a filter cartridge which makes it a particularly good price and great value for money. The "Berry" colour is pleasing even if it isn't quite the shade of red I was going for. I have two of these filter jugs in the kitchen, one big and one small. If you like your water chilled, this size jug will fit neatly in your refrigerator door. I find I need to replace jugs every couple of years or so as eventually they gum up with limescale and look tatty and unhygienic.

just flip the lid back, 2 turns of the tap and its full and you can use it without any water overflowing from the lid.

We have very hard water in our area so appliances were being destroyed by scale despite regular descaling and the drinking water is horrid. Therefore we were buying bottled water. No more since buying this water jug. The standard size is big enough for us (3 adults). I fill it each morning and it fits nicely into my fridge door. The water does taste clean.The only frustrating point is the ‘instructions for use.’ Printed in every language and opens up to the size of a sheet of wallpaper. Don’t even bother reading. Go onto YouTube and watch a demo of how the cartridge goes in, it’s pretty simple and most you I’m sure could work it out anyway, but I wanted to get it right. You should rinse the cartridge through before inserting so ensure you watch a correct video that demonstrates this; or good luck with reading the BRITA instructions!

I bought a smaller jug which I sent back. This one is excellent. It holds enough to fill the kettle with water left over. The flavours is very nice indeed. I would thoroughly recommend

Da bei uns das Wasser sehr kalkhaltig ist, haben wir uns diesen Wasserfilter gekauft, um uns die ständige Entkalkung unserer Geräte zu ersparen. Die Farbe gefällt uns sehr gut und über den Geschmack des gefilterten Wassers können wir auch nichts schlechtes sagen.Würden wir wieder kaufen.
