We bought this for our daughter for her 4th birthday together with other type of magnetic tiles. These sticks I would say are more advanced. Our daughter need assistance to build what she wants but it is more interesting for adults so it will keep an older child or a hostage adult busy for a while. They can be used together with magnetic tiles which gives even more options for playing in case you have some already. I love the sticks colors, they hold well. Comes with a storage soft bag but I wish it would come in a cardboard/plastic box for future storage. Highly recommend this product. I'm considering buying more as gift for friends that don't have kids under 3 years.

These are my favorite magnet sticks! Be mindful of safety recommendations as this item is a choking hazard. We put them into plastic Easter eggs for an unexpected and fun surprise. Includes building ideas for creative engineers and tips for building structures! Recommended!

So I decided to get this instead of buying a typical toy for my nephew, 6 years old. I wanted something that would also stimulate the mind as well as be fun. This works great for helping children to develop spatial understanding and object permanence. This also encourages creativity and is fun to play with.One thing I would warn about: Be careful not to allow very young children to play with this. The pieces could be swallowed and be harmful. Also I would simply advice supervising the child while they play with this toy. Excellent otherwise!

This is a great learning toy that requires hands on use and encourages a child to think so he/she can make creative designs. It is very sturdy and colorful.

My daughter loves it so much that I got a second box so she can build more complex figures.

I bought these for my son for Christmas, after checking out a LOT of comparable-looking products. It's difficult to get a feel for how sturdy and fun something is when you just see an image. These are great. The magnets are STRONG. You can easily make fun 3D shapes. The sticks aren't too tiny. I bought two packages to have enough to make big things, and that was a good choice. I highly recommend this set if you're looking for something for a kid who's at least 5. For sure the balls are small enough to swallow, so for smaller kids with oral fixations, this is not a good choice. My son is 10, and this has been a great gift.

I got it for my little granddaughter but the brother, sister and mom played with also. my granddaughter loves it.
