Wow... awesome... instant results
My Dremel 3000 had started acting sporadic and wouldn't operate when any pressure was applied at tip working on objects..... Dropped these in, re-using the stock springs (stock springs had stiffer winding), and it fired right up.... let it run for a minute on medium to cut the new brushes into the shaft, and got all my strength back in cuts using the Dremel to rasp out aluminum on 2atroke manifold intakes.... totally worth it... AND you get 2 sets.... so it will be another couple of years before I need another set......

Works For Dremel 300 series
4 pieces- I was expecting 2 brushes and 2 springs but you do receive two sets. Online parts houses list brushes for the Dremel 300 as "discontinued by manufacturer" but these are exact replacements for the 300 series with one caveat. The top spiral on the springs are not large enough in diameter to contact the power point. You will need to re-use the OEM springs that came with the Dremel-300. Also, the carbon brushes are not pre-chamfered (rounded to fit armature) so you may notice spotty, erratic running when first starting the motor. Allow the Dremel to run at low speed for a minute or so to seat the carbon brush to the armature. Simplest things are often the most puzzling, such as getting the shaft locking pin and spring back into place. Lay both in position in the upper shell and mate the motor shell half to it. Graphite separate from spring, tough to get on
This was a great deal so i should've expected less. Main problem is that the spring came separate from the graphite and had a tough time getting it on.The cylindrical part that the spring goes on (compared to original) is shorter by 1.32mm, wider by .04mm, hollow, and not centered. If it weren't, it'd be easy to file it down but there isn't much room for error.Ultimately got it on, in and works as it's supposed to. 3 stars is a little harsh, 4 is too many so I give it 3.6.

Disintegrated as soon as was installed
Easy to install. Fits right. Did not work. Installed new switch with these brushes and the disintegrated carbon melted/fused with switch and ruined switch.
