ASIN THN-007 Thermostat - Works like a champ on 2004 Infiniti G35X sedan
This replacement part works well in my 2004 Infiniti G35X sedan. My mechanic installed this part and also replaced the twin radiator fans. Now my car is driving well like before. This part is meant for the sedan. If you have an Infiniti G35 Coupe then you will need a part rated for 170 degrees instead of 180 degrees. Make sure you also buy a Thermostat gasket. I had to purchase that separately. I prefer to buy Japanese manufactured / designed parts for Japanese cars.

This almost messed up my engine
This item almost blew my engine. After it was installed, my car would overheat and never cool off. I thought it was a headgasket/air in system, but turns out it was this. I had it removed and the old housing from a themostat that was "stuck open" reinstalled and the car cools off fine. I went with a local auto parts store around here to get a properly working one. Spent extra money on this when I was looking to safe a few $$.
