I am very glad that I purchased this fine china. It will look great on my Christmas table for years to come. I would recommend this china to any Christmas lover and to anyone who is not such a Christmas lover.

Not what the advertising lead me to believe.
I should have known from the price that it was not fine china. I thought I was purchasing fine china albeit a 'second' with some imperfection due to the price. The fact that it was NOT fine china was not on the first page of the advertisement. I didn't realize the mistake until the package came. I shipped it back immediately. All I can say is 'caveat emptor". I went back to the add and the fact that it was earthenware and not fine china was on the second page in the middle of the description...certainly nothing that stood out.
