Scotty#104 Strongback Oar Lock

Just like everyone says: better than expected! Very well made. They seem indestructible. They should hold up to extreme use for a long time. Will be using on a Crawford Melonseed Skiff. I will still keep the classic brass oar locks, but they are open, and will use these for routine duty. Would buy again.

I'm no rower. I have a motors but I wanted a pair of these incase I ran into mechanical difficulties. These seem nicely made and perfect for me at the lower price range. They are heavy and I doubt they will let me down before my oars will.

Oarlocks worked well. It would have been nice to know about the sleeves ahead of time for our vacation, but we didn't end up rowing as much as we thought so it didn't put a damper on our trip. Good fit on our canoe, old Towne 17'.

Looked like it would work on my Walker Bay Oars but the diameter is too small. The description should include "NOT FOR WALKER BAY OARS".

Used for one weekend but you can tell right away these are sturdy and will last. Wish they came with appropriate pins to lock into place, but still a great product.

Great product. Sturdy and I think will work well with the ore's I have in my boat.

Fits exactly what I needed

These items do not fit my Jon boat oarlock holes on the boat. Not as advertised.Worthless to me in all ways.

Ohh no, my perfectly brand new or locks had tape on the package.

WOW These are even better than I expected I love that the post is not skinny but it’s a sturdy product is well coated so it’s not going to rust they are perfect I love them

Work as expected. I like the lack of metal on metal sound. Recreation rowing but stand up well if the wind breezes up.

Could not find the product I wanted in any store but found it here and it works great
