we get through one of these every 6 months and they're great
I manage a GP practice and we use these to help make up blister packs for our patients who would otherwise struggle - either with opening their meds or with adhering to the schedule for taking them.So we are dealing with 28 days-worth, four times a day with many patients on 6-10 tablets at a time, for around 70 patients - the devices are in almost constant use by 3 staff members. Over 5,000 tablets a month. We don't use them on super-large tablets or on capsules - its too easy to break a capsule, and the foils tend to be thinner anyway so these are less bother to do manually. We find that they break at the narrow part of the moulding just above the trigger, and they last between 5 and 6 months with this level of workload. For home use I imagine they'd last several years.A quality product that I'm quite happy to re-purchase every 6 months as it's so effective and a real time (and finger) saver.

Good popper but...
On the plus side, this pill popper makes the job of getting the tablets out of the packs super easy, and prevents my fingers from getting sore having to pop so many pills from their sleeves every day. However, this is now the 3rd popper I've purchased as the plastic has a tendency to crack and makes the mechanism useless as there isn't enough pressure to pop the pill.Whats frustrating, is that it usually goes just after I've been using them for a year, so clearly these have a shortish shelf life, and they aren't cheap to replace. That said, when you have to remove so many pills every day, it's still the best gadget to have, so here I am, on my third popper.

Wow - this actually works - and really well too!!
I have tried several aids previously that supposedly help to dispense tablets from their far-too-tough blister packs with a total lack of success. I need to distribute a months worth of 8 medications into my dispenser boxes and always ended up with sore fingers - both bruised from struggling with the stupidly over-thick blister packs and cut from sharp aluminium foil, pains that last several days each month. Was I expecting the Pivotell to work? Well only partly. But I have just sorted out my months medication with no sorensss, no cuts and, thanks to the dispenser tube, no tablets scattered around on my table or floor - every single one in the correct dispenser!! It dealt really well with small to medium tablets. My largest were also OK but being long and oval one or two stuck in the dispenser tube at first. There seems to be a knack to this - press the long tablet slightly more to one end than in the centre then it goes down the tube with no problem! Overall this is so easy to use I recommend it absolutely and totally - well worth its cost

I was a bit sceptical, but was surprised at how good it was.

Good but it breaks!!
Makes getting pills out of blister packs very easy, however it doesn't have a container to collect the pills, breaks capsules easily, doesn't last very long either - my second one has just broken in half!! Do i get a replacement which will be my 3rd one or get much cheaper ones

Easy to use
Game changer for me as I take absolutely loads of pills a day. I used to hate having to pop all those blister packs into my dosset box, but no more. I’ve tried many pill dispensers but this is the best one ever! No more broken nails, using the small end of a tea spoon, cursing when the small ones don’t come out or come out all broken. (and it’s always the foul tasting ones). Yes it seems a bit pricey but it’s well worth the money. Yes I still shudder at having to dose out the pills but doing it is a doddle compared to the dark old days.

Brilliant!
This pill popper has spared my hands to a delightful degree. My disabled husband needs seemingly hundreds of pills dispensed constantly and that was really painful until I bought this device. Also, it was made in Sweden... anything made in Europe, USA, Canada or the Antipodes is a huge bonus I think nowadays and should be supported whenever possible, and I'm entitled to my opinion...
