High quality smooth writing
Great quality lead. I use it in my Pentel Graphgear 1000 and it has never broken while writing. It writes very smooth and always maintains optimal surface contact with the paper.

Very good for price, they write nice and I like the opacity of them.

Great lead
Used mainly for sketching and calligraphy, I love how small the .03 is and allows me to make extremely fine details

I wish that I were writing this review with these leads!
Pentel Ain Stein Mechanical Pencil Lead, 0.3mm OK, so I prefer to write w poly leads and mech pencils rather than wood pencils...mostly. I have been using Pentel HB leads, and was marginally OK with them - BECAUSE I use 0.3 mm, and that is simply more fragile than 0.5 mm by a big margin. I saw some reviews of this lead and some other newer lead compositions, and figured for a few bucks, why not give them a shot? These leads REALLY are smoother, blacker, and stronger than my former HB leads. I had quite a bit of writing to do today - equations, mostly, and the start and stop of the writing in the equations often (grin) lead to lead breakage - so I tried this lead in 3 pencils: a Uni Kuru Toga, a Staedler regulator, and my favorite, a rotring Tikky II 0.35. Not one glitch in 3 pages covered in equations. Very sharp lines, and dark. Much improved viewing. The crowning glory are the Tikky I & II. I really like these pencils...been using for, oh, I dunno, a few decades. Can't get them any more. The smoothness is noticeable to anyone who writes regularly. I'm fine with the reduced feedback, with the blacker images and stronger lead. I am grateful that these lead companies continue to develop this technology. Now what to do with several boxes of

Scratchy but good
It's kinda scratchy on my graphgear 1000, but very smooth on my graph 1000 for pro. If you dont like scratchy feeling, you can make these feel buttery smooth (like about 2B) by switching your paper to kokuyo sarasara. These last a while but not as much as the 0.5mm version imo.

Anyone interested in artwork or whichever use needed for this measurement of lead won't be disappointed as long as you're careful for pressure and strength.

Aun siendo minas de 0,3, es decir, de las más frágiles, no se rompen a la primera y la escritura fluye sin contratiempos.

There's not much that one can write about a 0.3mm pencil lead. I get through a lot of these and they work well.
