A very good starter camera/video camera for a young inspiring photographer and/or vlogger. My daughter is so far enjoying making videos and taking pictures. She's 9 and has no problems walking around while holding this camera in one hand. I attached the neck strap but my daughter likes holding the camera by the easy to grab and hold handles. She just got it today and I hope charging doesn't take as long as it did out of the box. Hopefully it took long the first time because it was completely dead but I'll try and remember to keep it charged for her. I haven't tried connecting it to my new laptop (Win10) but I'm sure that won't be an issue but if it is I'll update my review. When I ordered this camera I also ordered a Samsung Evo 32gb micro SD card (from Amazon) I tested the SD card on my new laptop using h2testw. The SD card is genuine.

We have had the blue camera for two months. It was my six year old's favorite birthday present. She and her younger siblings take turns playing with it, taking pictures and videos and having fun and being creative. It's very durable- this camera has been dropped A LOT of times. The kids know how to turn on frames and change the color. They can switch it from camera mode to video mode and can view what they've taken in play back mode without any help from me. It's very easy to use.The camera easily charges in the wall and has a good battery life. There is one game on it (a version of snake) that my daughter can't figure out how to play. You can turn the volume off in settings so that there is no annoying beeping sounds when you look at pictures in play back mode. This feature is wonderful! My only complaints are that I can not figure out how to turn on the flash light- but this is probably my own user error and not a defect of the camera. And also that when we play back videos on the camera or even on the computer we have no volume to them. That has been our biggest disappointment, but again could just be an error on my part? Even with that I would say this camera has been a great first camera for my six year old. Especially for the reasonable price. I would recommend this camera.

It is a great little camera. My son loves to take pictures and this camera is quite easy to use. It is lightweight and attractive. Love the fact that is rechargeable, and won't be spending money on batteries that run out quickly. Great gift for Christmas.

I bought it in October for my daughter for Christmas (I like to shop early) but after charging all day Christmas and then into the night it never turned on. The charge light went off but it still would not turn on. Since it is too late to return I guess it will just go onto the trash.

I bought this camera as a Christmas gift for my four year old. She was ecstatic...until we realized you needed to purchase and SD card separately in order to use it. The camera seems like it will be perfect for her once that arrives in the mail. The other down fall is the only way to charge us through a usb so no wall outlet.

Overall this is a great camera for a kid. It is durable, and came with a lanyard(which was a pleasant surprise)! I like how the picture shows on a big screen, has several picture frames which is fun and my child likes that it has a game. I was searching for quite some time for the perfect camera for my 7 year old and this was the best by far!

I bought this camera for my daughter for Christmas. Lesson learned to charge and test everything electronic before wrapping! The camera had to charge for several hours and would never work without being plugged in. I returned the first and had Amazon ship me a second. The second camera did the exact same thing. I followed the directions exactly, and ensured the little on/off button was toggled. It seems like a nice camera, but unreliable if it will work or not. I have it two stars instead of one because it looked nice and sturdy, but unless it works out of the box consistently, it's not a worthwhile product to buy. I returned the second one as well and will be looking for a different camera altogether.

My son-in-law bought these cameras for two grandkids, age 3 & 5. The 5 year old caught on quickly and was happily taking pics and videos in a couple hours. The 3 year old didn’t get it, was frustrated until, after watching and some coaching from her older brother, figured it out. My guesstimate is this is a semi-toy for ages 4+. I say semi-toy because it’s a real digital camera, just lower pixel count and more durable case.
