Caldrea Hand Wash Soap, Aloe Vera Gel, Olive Oil And Essential Oils To Cleanse And Condition, Gilded Balsam Birch, 10.8 Fl Oz

I love Caldera's Sea Salt Neroli fragrance, so took a gamble on this Gilded Balsam Birch, even though it's clear from other reviews that people either really like it or don't. I was hoping for a Christmas-y Balsam Fir plus Cardamom (one of the listed ingredients, and a major spice in our Norwegian Christmas cooking/cookies!) - but it's anything but that. It just smells like generic perfume - I don't know how else to describe it - which is not something I'm fond of; and, yes, it is a very strong fragrance. You might like it! Not me. Going to take another gamble on the Rosewater Driftwood next month, since that scent has had very favorable reviews and appeals to me in name and description.I gave this product 3 stars for the labeling that doesn't match the fragrance; and for its description as "moisturizing," whereas I found it to be quite drying to my already-dry skin. I actually do think it's a good value for its size, if you like the fragrance and aren't counting on it to moisturize.

Love the Gilded Balsam scent - yes it is perfumey. I have eczema on my hands and this is the only hand soap I’ve tried that not only doesn’t irritate my skin, but also makes my skin softer. Suds up very well, only have to use a small amount. I’ve accepted the high price because it works so well and the smell is amazing

i've used caldrea products for years and always loved them... until this one. it's very potent/strong, and smells like cheap cologne. i've washed my hands a couple more times, and it still stinks like a flashy car salesman from three feet away.

Love love love this smell! I’ve already gone through two bottles since I found this scent. It’s on the heavier side but it’s one of my favorite Caldrea scents!!!!! A little bit of tree, a little bit of spice, it smells sooooo good!!!!!

I love the Caldrea products and [would like to] buy these refills for my soap/lotion holder online. But each time the soap has leaked out of the bottle during shipping. It's always messy and sometimes the moisture ruins the label. The soap is pretty much still usable, but it's frustrating to get it in this condition after paying about $10 for a small bottle.

The guided 'cheap' cologne smell was strong at first, but not well distributed in soap gel so after first few uses not as strong. Rubbed into hands properly can definitely smell citrus notes

During this time of the Covid-19 I feel that this is better to use than a bar of soap. The scent isn't too strong and I can wipe off the top with a sanitizer.
