I've had this belt for 5 years. Def recommend.
Wow, I'm writing this review after having this belt for 5 years (though I did stop deadlifting for a couple of years due to a wrist injury). This belt is great. It's relatively comfortable (lifting belts shouldn't be super comfortable). It's durable, adjustable and looks great. 10/10.

and at a great price! I was hesitant to write a review ...
After much research on weightlifting belts, I decided to go with a nylon belt. This one fit the bill, and at a great price! I was hesitant to write a review without using it, though. Well, yesterday was leg day. I did several sets of progressively heavier squats, and the belt felt great. There was no pinching or pulling, and it did not inhibit movement at all. The belt gave great support in the depth of my squat, but I did not feel like my core was completely relying on it(which is what I was looking for).I then progressed to deadlifts. I really like the slightly wider back area. This helped keep me mindful of my back position while going for heavier lifts. I also had the same great, but not overbearing, support with deadlifts. Just enough to assure me that I wasn't going to hurt myself because I had a good brace. I still feel like my abdominal muscles were doing 90% of the work(in fact, they are sore as I write this).I was weary about the velcro, ordering online, but I no longer am. The strap is completely covered in velcro, and it was quite secure. If you are going to be using a belt for true powerlifting and you need it to enhance your power output, I would advise you go with leather. However, if you are looking for something that will aid in your safety and not inhibit range of motion, this is the belt for you.

Great Fir!
I really love how this belt fits. It's not too bulky or wide. It fits around the abdomen area exactly where it's supposed to for the most protection.

Just what the gym doctor ordered.
Stiff to start out but works in quickly. Appears to be well made. Stays in place and gives that extra support needed to go to the next level.

Great belt, well-built
I have a 37-1/2 waist where I put the belt (slightly above the love handles), and as I'm on the heavy side but on my way to losing weight, I purchased size Small, as I wanted the belt to fit snuggly. It does fit snuggly (as it's supposed to), the Velcro gripping a good three inches when I strap it on, and this Velcro is not going to come loose, and there's plenty of more gripping Velcro for when I slim down. In front there's a gap where the two ends of the belt meet at my navel of one inch, so meaning that the ends don't overlap. This size is perfect, and I spend so much detail on sizing as it seems to be the item that most people messed up when ordering. Belt is very well constructed, nice stitching, as has been noted by others, and it's light weight even while providing a powerful 'cinching' effect. I like the metal buckle with the rolling tube, nice touch. I'd heartily recommend for the at-home weight lifter, or gym warrior. I had wondered about the raised padding design on the back, and now I realize the belt is so light-weight that those provide a stiffened back so that the belt spreads the force evenly across the belt back; again, a nice touch. Moreover, if this is the quality of other Fire Team Fit products, I'd probably purchase from them again.

Velcro really only messes up if you have the wrong size
This belt is a great, affordable belt that fits itself into a good niche. This falls somewhere between a ratcheting belt and a traditional buckle in terms of tightening and getting on/off. Not quite as easy or tight as a ratchet, but not $75+ for a belt either. That being said, getting the belt on and off is very easy thanks to the Velcro strap (sometimes hassling with a belt buckle can be annoying when you're exhausted), and it holds very well. I haven't ever had it slip and lose pressure during a lift.I had to re-do some of the stitching on the strap since I'm right on the cusp of a size small/medium depending on my cutting cycle. Pulling the end of the Velcro through the loop so often starts to pop the stitches, but it was such an easy fix, I can't complain. If you're in the middle of a size and don't have to pull the Velcro on the strap through the loop, you almost certainly wouldn't have that issue.I have a few Fire Team Fit products now, and when I see them for sale I choose them over other companies

Cant get tight enough - Comparison to e26 belt
This is a comparison review of the fire team fit weightlifting belt and the E 26 weightlifting belt. The fire team fit belt at the bottom of my picture looks great and I love that it has 6 inch lumbar support however although the belt does fit I can’t get it tight enough. It is the same size large as the E 26 belt which does get tight enough. The fire team fit belt the metal clasp it’s difficult to loosen after you are done your set such I am using it for squats and deadlifts and after each set I like to unstrap it and it’s annoying with the fire team fit belt and easier with the E 26 beltMy one knock of the E 26 belt is that it is not 6 inches it is very thin more like 3 1/2 to 4 inches but it still does the job. If the belt was 6 inch lumbar support I would definitely choose this one.Overall I will be returning the fire team fit belt at the bottom of my picture and I will be keeping for now the E 26 belts but I am going to be looking for a belt with 6 inch lumbar support that also can tighten and loosen more easily

Fazit:Absolut empfehlenswert
