Jamaican Mango & Lime Black Castor Oil (Mango Papaya) 4oz

Bought to regrow hair. Never would guess it's the secret to controlling painful eczema flare ups!
I honestly bought this for no other reason than to regrow hair around my hairline that was falling out from the stress of the pandemic (and from getting older/hormones). It took about a month or so, but my little baby hairs around my hairline that had fallen out started growing back. Not all the way back, but I do see some improvements, even on my eyebrows that have thinned out with bald spots from hormone changes. But the absolute plus side that I never ever anticipated (nor ever heard of until I started researching black Jamaican oil for eczema, and a bunch of stuff popped up), is that this oil would be, and has been, *the only treatment that has kept my eczema at bay*. Never did I expect that. But it has definitely been a very welcome bonus. So if you suffer from painful eczema flare-ups around your hairline or anywhere on your skin like I do, I absolutely recommend putting some of this on it for instant relief, and give it a few hours (maybe even sleep with it as a night time treatment like I do), and in the morning, I swear to you, the flare up will be gone (at least they were for me). I even started using it on my eyebrows (to regrow hair and because of hormones and eczema flare-ups, yup even in my brows). Those eczema spots went away. The best thing though is that if you use this in your scalp at night, in the morning, your scalp is not greasy like other oils make your hair. So you can go a few days without washing your hair, unlike other oils.So putting this black Jamaican oil/eczema theory to the test, I had totally forgotten to use my black Jamaican oil around my hairline as the last step in my night time routine for a few days-and wouldn't you know it, I could feel the eczema flare up coming on in its usual place on my hairline, and I thought to myself wow it's been awhile since I had that happen... Without even realizing that I hadn't put on my Jamaican oil for a few days I just let it go. Well then another flare up on the other side of my hairline (this one too in its usual spot) started coming up and it was coming with a vengeance, and I thought what the heck is going on I haven't been doing anything different... And duh, That's when it dawned on me that I had totally forgotten to put on my Jamaican oil during my night time routine for the last few days (I was just so busy and I can be absent-minded sometimes when I get really busy). I even noticed that eczema spot on my forehead above my eyebrow came back... So when I realized what I was forgetting to do each night before going to bed, I whipped out the black Jamaican oil, left it on overnight and in the morning, the nasty eczema flare-ups disapated or went away completely. The first flare up that came back was a doozy so it took a couple days to go away with the Jamaican oil, but it went away and I didn't have any hair loss from the flare up (like I do usually). I can't tell you how much I love this stuff. No more having to put peppermint oil on my eczema flare-ups to get some relief. No more having to use that nasty sulfur shampoo that smells awful and takes away the color in your hair. I even use this oil as a moisturizer under my eyes and my eyes have never been warm moisturized. Say goodbye to $60 under eye creams because this stuff does a way better job. I even use it as an all-over hair conditioner. I use it to moisturize my dry scalp, and the huge Austin Powers "I have gold" dandruff flakes dissapeared since I started using this. From scalp to ends of my hair, I let it sit overnight and in the morning it washes right off without trouble and my hair looks so moisturized afterward. This stuff is magic and I can't recommend it enough, especially if you suffer from bald spots from eczema or painful eczema flare-ups like I do. It even helps to repair really damaged dry hair if you use it as an all-over moisturizer overnight once a week or so. Magic. A thick mango smelling bottle of magic. The only downfall is that since it's mango it does stain yellow so be careful if you use it as an overnight treatment put a towel down and don't get it on your clothes. Hope it works for you like it does for me.

Smells Wonderful and Hydrates
My mom’s hairdresser, who has become a family-like sister to our family for at least a decade now, put texturized in my hair. So she cut my hair and then she put oil into my scalp with an applicator bottle. It made my hair so soft and the smell is really wonderful. So she said it was “mango castor oil and pineapple”.So of course dumb me I go to a couple hair stores to find the oil inside of the applicator bottle not thinking that the oil itself is a brand lol! I searched all over the hair store not realizing that the oil the woman pointed out to me was the brand I was looking for. So I text my hairdresser if Jamaican Mango and Lime was the brand and it was. It’s Papaya, not Pineapple. Now I’m all disappointed because I had my eye on the prize and my hands on it apparently and didn’t know it. I’m lazy and I can’t use my Sally coupon because it doesn’t start until May 1st and my hair needed 911-level help. Thus, I order it online and here we are. I tossed my other African’s Best bottle of oil out which didn’t have much in it for me to care. I had it forever and did nothing for my hair. Then I ordered a couple 4oz applicator bottles so that I can dump the oil into it so I can control how much I use.All in all, I love the oil. Smells great and it’s hydrating. I’ve seen this brand before at hair stores, but never knew how much it would work for me. Now that I know how this oil works, I may explore other scents this brand has been paired up with.

My hair loves this stuff !!
Smells great very long lasting smell. I feel the original black castor oil is most effective for growth however I can’t stomach the lingering smell. This has the same feel as far as oil and hydration goes. A little goes a long way

Good product
Smells great! Be mindful when using as the oil color can spread to clothing and surfaces after applying. Also if you are clumsy with products like myself, then you should use over a sink.

Love it!!
Love this oil for everything! I use it on my hair and skin, and I mix it with neosporin for certain small cuts/scrapes for a quicker heal. I feel like it helps with the scarring a little bit as well, (I usually always scar no matter how small the cut)
