Free Samples: Before you order these, go to tranquilityproducts.com and try it for free. Of each category, you can order up to 2 sample packs. Each sample pack contains a quantity of 2. I recommend narrowing down your product in a category down to 1 and use your 2 free samples on the sizes since many people believe Tranquility fits on the small side. Get one of your free samples the size you think you are according to their size chart and then get one size bigger. I also order samples of the boosters since I’m a heaver wetter. You might also want to consider some of the other categories such as the disposable underwear (Pull-Up style) if you’re unsure if the briefs (tape on diapers) are right for you. Plastic Cover: These diapers have a loud crinkly plastic cover that I love but other might not. I like the plastic cover because they remind me of the “all plastic” baby diapers from my generation. Other benefits of an all plastic diaper is they have better odor control. It also prevents leaks if you’re a side sleeper. The crinkle can easily muffled under briefs or heavy clothing. Shape: These diapers are hour-glass shaped as you’d expect, but are very narrow between the legs. I guess the advantage to that is it might increase movement (no waddling) and minimize chafing. You don’t feel the diaper pressing against the inside of your legs. Padding: The padding is very thin so I like to double them up with boosters. I’m very impressed with how much the padding holds for being so thin. I like that the padding extends through the wings for added protection for side sleepers. The padding on the front doesn’t extent as high as it could. There’s several inches of excess material in the front beyond the padding. Read on to “Fitting Tips” to learn how I manage this excess material. Fit and Tapes: I normally fit a medium in other brands but the mediums are too small in Tranquilities so I get them in large. They have no stretch and no landing zone, only double layered tapes. If you get the tapes in the right position the first time, you can use the double layered tape as a make-shift landing zone so you can unfasten them on those occasions you can make it to the bathroom and refasten them when you’re done. Or if you don’t fasten it right the first time, use the double layered tapes as one last try to get it right. You might also find that because these diapers lack stretch, they tend to sag and are practically falling off by morning…or at least on me. Everyone is shaped differently, so it may be different for you. Read on to “Fitting Tips” for my solutions for what I consider a bad fit design. Fitting Tips: First lay the diaper out flat. Then put position your booster insert if you use those. Then fold the excess material in the front inward. Optional: Apply a couple of strips of white Duct Tape across the front outer cover if you want to create a landing zone. Lay down on the diaper. Verify you are positioned correctly by pulling the diaper front and sides up over yourself prior to taping. If you’re satisfied with your position, tape only the top tapes. Then apply white Duck Tape strips over and slightly below the top tapes. Fold over the ends of the Duck Tape to create pull-tabs. You don’t need the lower tapes. Tuck any excess material in the diaper. The result is a snug fitting diaper that’s only where you need it. It’s quite comfy, cool, non-restricting, and will stay snug all night. Value: I got these because I don’t want to waist my premium diapers that cost $2 - $3 a diaper during my workweek when I have to wake up so early. I hate the idea of throwing those expensive diapers away if I only wet them once or twice during a short night. These diapers are less than a $1 each so I don’t mind wasting them. However, to my surprise, they hold more than I expected following my “Fitting Tips.”

Very good for those who need diapers
This is a very excellent adult diaper and I wear them when I'm traveling. And they definitely help when I'm sleeping. I would prefer to alternate between these and pull up panties worn while working.

Diapers for the people!
These are great! in my experience, they are about the same thickness as the old Depends brand maximum protection diapers, but are by far more reliable, In the past I mainly used the Depends brand, but switched to these last year when the old plastic style Depend started becoming hard to find. I'd estimate these reliably hold about 3 times more than those did anyway. It's difficult to make these leak. Even on the second round I can totally flood it and assuming I don't immediately smash my bottom into a hard surface, it holds very well. Depend told me they are re-engineering their product, but it won't be plastic anymore, so I likely won't buy it again. ATNs can also be compared to the Tena Slip Maxi (which sadly, has also become very hard to find) I think the Tenas had a sexier look, though the tapes on these ATNs work much better. I also use the purple Molicare diapers and Abena M4s. Those have higher capacity and they are useful for occasions when I know I won't be able to change for many hours, but I find these ATNs to be much more comfortable (especially at night) and easier to wear in every day life. I can wear a wet ATN under a tight pair of jeans in almost any environment and nobody can tell. Not even my boyfriend who was playing with my butt realized I was wearing it. My only complaint with these is the excess material in the top. That material probably has some usefulness at night laying down, but in the day time I tuck it way so the diaper does not stick out the top of my pants and become obvious to others around me, but it's a little less comfortable that way (that is one area I feel the Depends and Tena Maxis have the advantage). Like all the diapers I mentioned, these are also plastic backed. I think plastic diapers are awesome and sad that they are getting so difficult to find anymore. Understandably both plastic and cloth diapers have their advantages. As a caretaker I appreciate ease of the Velcro tapes with the paper diapers for someone laying in bed. But for myself being active, I much prefer platic backed diapers, and on these ATNs, the tapes actually work pretty well. Plastic diapers have a certain look and feel that makes me proud to wear them, where the paper cloth designs are just depressing. If they ever completely disappear, I'll probably find a way to make my own. But for now, no need to make my own. As long as these stay in production. I will keep buying them. About the photos; The first three pictures compare the Tranquility ATNs with other plastic backed diapers; Depends Maximum Protection (old style), Tena Slip Maxi (difficult to find/ expensive in US), Molicare Super Plus (purple diaper), Abena Abri Form M4 (thick with blue pattern) and North Shore Supreme Briefs (very thick, plain white). All the diapers are plastic backed size medium. With the exception of the Depend, all perform very well. Depend however is probably the most comfortable. Best looking (in my opinion) is the Tena Maxi. M4s and North Shore are the most absorbent, if you don't mind having diaper butt. The second set set is me (size 32) in the medium ATN. Starting out, its not a very sexy diaper. But with some practice the Excess material can be tucked away (in expense of some comfort) for a better look. Who says diapers can't be fun?

It’s important to know that although these are the same on the inside of the diaper as the XS version, the outside layer is very different then XS size, these have a plastic outside layer unlike it’s fabric outer lining on the XS size, to which I prefer. The plastic outer layer causes sweating issues and even skin issues on the inside of the legs as it rubs on the inner grown area. If these were being used on a body abled person then I would not use again but as they are on a person that is wheelchair bound they will do until I find another without the plastic outer layer.! I’m not sure why they the company would change from the soft outer on the others when it’s a difference of an inch or 2.

These are one of the best diapers I have ever purchased I'm 36 years old with large urine voids I don't use the toilet at all and found these hold enough for at least four full voids. You don't need a diaper cover unless for the sound also I only wish my disability would pay for these.
